Heavenly oasis in the woods

Raoul's house set in a secluded part of his land is a gorgeous little haven for a stay in Provence. The house is small, but the bed is full size and even my 6'8" husband was able to navigate the compact bathroom! With a bottle of delicious rosé left in the fridge by Raoul and good cooking facilities (lots of pots and pans and a hob, grill/oven and microwave etc) we were able to enjoy some heavenly evening dining al fresco in the June sunshine enjoying the early summer nature. A terrific bonus is the restaurant, Le Mas Tourteron which is literally located next door where one of France's finest female chefs prepares awesome fine dining for guests who are seated in the most beautiful walled garden - not cheap, but worth every penny! Open Weds - Sun, do book if you fancy treating yourself. Raoul left us to our devices, which was perfect, but we saw him again on leaving and he's a lovely friendly guy who speaks very good English. The house has reliable wifi, and a TV (but we didn't watch it so can't report on channels etc). The house is very close to Gordes and a large supermarket at Cousselet/Maubec. We can also recommend the Sunday farmers market in Cousselet which is also on Weds eves during the summer, and we had a terrific walk along the Falaise - rocky hilltops which we found online and which starts in the village of Lioux. This place is a treat and we would definitely return - cheers Raoul!

"Retour à l'essentiel". Petit coin de paradis dans la nature qui vous permet de revenir aux vraies valeurs, tout en étant proche des magnifiques petits villages provençaux haut perchés, des itinéraires vtt, vttae ou cyclo qui vous permettent de vous dépayser un max. Et pour ne rien gâcher, une multitude de petits restos sympas renseignés par le propriétaire. Mon épouse et moi avons adoré...

L'objectif de notre séjour était de visiter les nombreux plus beaux villages de France que compte le Luberon. Le cabanon est idéal pour ça. Au calme mais tout proche de la route. Seul bémol, la propreté laissait à désirer. La literie est confortable, la salle de bain exigue. Le rapport qualité prix est correct.

Dès notre arrivée le propriétaire nous a demander de ne pas salir et de faire le ménage avant de partir car il n’avait pas de personnel pour le faire après notre départ. Nous ne comprenons pas trop car nous avons payé une prestation de ménage dans notre location. Il nous a également expliqué qu’il y avait des poils de chien partout car il avait accepté l’animal du précédent vacancier, chose qu’il n’accepte pas en temps normal. Effectivement. Il y avait des touffes de poils partout aux abords de la maison, nous en avons ramassé chaque jour afin que notre fils ne joue pas dedans. A notre arrivée les coussins de la banquette et les galettes des chaises étaient pleines de taches. Concernant la wifi il y en a mais pas dans la maison mais dans le bois prêt de la maison. Après notre départ, le propriétaire était très inquiet de savoir si nous avions changé les draps du lit (chose que nous n’avons pas fait) et si nous étions partis avec ses serviettes de bains. Nous avons simplement utilisé les nôtres puisque il ne fallait rien salir ! Sinon la description des lieux et du cadre dans les commentaires précédent est fidèle à la réalité.

Cette location est vraiment conforme à la description. Isolée, bien équipée pour un couple ou une petite famille. Une parfaite petite maison provençale entourée de nature. Le propriétaire est très accueillant, toujours près à indiquer les bonnes adresses aux environs sans pour autant s'imposer. C'est la location idéale pour les amoureux de calme et de nature. En plus, la région est superbe...... Nous la recommandons sans réserve.

Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines dans cette jolie maison conforme aux photos et à la description proposées, très bien située pour explorer le Luberon (et au delà). Nous y avions séjourné l'été dernier et nous sommes revenus pour 3 semaines. On adore cet endroit. Le cabanon est entouré de chênes, sur un vaste terrain. Douche à l'extérieur très appréciable en été. A l'intérieur, vous y trouverez l'essentiel pour votre séjour (on a apprécié la plancha cette année !) Situation idéale (Coustellet et son marché à ne pas manquer, Goult, Gordes, Oppède-le-Vieux, Bonnieux....). On recommande.

Das Häuschen ist zweckmäßig und mit Charme eingerichtet, unserem Golden Retriever gefiel besonders die Aussendusche - wir hatten ihm ein kleines Planschbecken darunter gestellt...alles war wunderbar und die Betreuung durch Josy vor Ort prima!! Vielen Dank!!!

On a trouvé en cette maison de vacances un très bel endroit tranquille et paisible, situé en même temps à proximité des sites à ne pas rater dans le Lubéron. Monsieur Titeca nous a très gentiment accueillis. La maison était aménagée de facon aimable: On s'est tout de suite senti à l'aise. Le grand jardin était à rêver! Merci! Il est déjà temps de revenir.. - Wir haben in diesem Häuschen genau das gefunden, wonach wir gesucht haben: Einen ruhigen und friedlichen Ort, von dem aus viele schöne Orte des Lubéron trotzdem problemlos in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar waren. Herr Titeca war sehr nett und zuverlässig. Das Haus war gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, der große Garten ein Traum! Vielen Dank! Es ist jetzt schon Zeit, wiederzukommen..

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Raouls kleinem Häuschen! Wer Entspannung und Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Rundherum gibt es ein tolles Freizeitangebot und viel zu entdecken. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das wunderschöne Städtdchen Gordes!

The house is located at a quiet spot near an open field of grass and a lot of trees. Everything was fine (especially the bottle of wine placed by Raoul ;) ). The house is equipped with everything you need. The location is also very good. You can reach various points of the Provence by car within 1 hour.
