Apartment ideally located for visiting: the Medieval City, entrance through Porte d'Aude or Porte Narbonnaise; to attend its fireworks display and its conflagration in the evening of July 14; at its festival, in the Jean Deschamps theater in the heart of the City and at the performances of the Medieval in the lists. Other sites to visit: La Bastide 10 mins walk; the Cathar castles, the museums, the caves, the churches, the abbeys, the cellars of the Minervois and Corbières, the Canal du Midi with its boat trips ... The Upper Aude Valley. 10 minutes by car, you will be at the edge of the Cavayère lake, with its sandy and grassy beaches, pedal boats, water park, windsurfing boards; its tree climbing courses for children and adults. Close to the lake, the Australian animal park is open most of the year.

This spacious apartment is located at the bottom of a big hill which leads up to the Citi de Carcassonne, a medieval fortress. Our favorite restaurant and one we highly recommend is Le Flagrant des Lices. The service, menu selection, and presentation is five stars! In the early morning you can take an easy 15 minute walk into town over a bridge, mostly flat and try a variety of different boulangeries. There is an amazing fresh produce market too.
The bathroom has been renovated and also has a washer. There is locked gated off street parking which is a plus. The apartment is very quiet also.

Il est vrai comme lu dans certains commentaires qu'il y a une odeur de refermé dans les placards.
Mais surtout l'équipement vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine
piteux état.
Couverts tordus voire cassés 4 bols et 4 assiettes c'est trop peu d'autant que la plupart est ébrechée.
Poêles et casseroles, sales à jeter !!!
Pas de bouilloire ni toaster.
Sinon tout est OK.

Appartement très spacieux idéalement situé (au bas de la cité médiévale) , commerces, restaurants et parc à proximité.
Propriétaire extrêmement serviable et nous a été de très bon conseil.

Propriétaire très accueillante, très discrète et vraiment agréable. Logement idéalement situé nous n'avons pas utilisé la voiture durant notre séjour, voiture en sécurité dans la propriété. Petit bémol sur le nettoyage qui est apparemment survolé et odeur de renfermé qui domine dans l'appartement et surtout dans les placards.
