With many vacation homes on Tims Ford Lake to choose from, what makes this one ideal?
By water, it is located in the geographical center of Tims Ford Lake on a large, deep water cove named "Big Hollow". This location is literally minutes away from Tims Ford Marina, home of the "Hard Dock Cafe"; Tims Ford State Park, home of The Bear Trace golf course; and Holiday Marina, home of the Blue Gill Grill.
By land, it is located 17 miles from historic Lynchburg, TN and the Jack Daniel Distillery; Winchester, TN; Sewanee, TN, Tullahoma and Fayetteville, TN -- all home to unique dining, antique shopping, and an abundance of outdoor activities.
The layout of the home you choose is just as important as its location. The living area has vaulted ceilings and plenty of room to relax or entertain. This room is also equipped with a 65" 4K TV, a Blue-Ray player, 150+ channels, and super fast internet to keep you and your guests up to date on that important ballgame and in touch with all of your favorite internet sites.
Two sets of double doors open up to a spacious deck and wonderfully secluded view of the lake. The kitchen is just off the living room with a unobstructed view of the TV so you never miss a minute of the big game. The kitchen is also fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything else you would need should you decide to "dine in" during your stay.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, smart TV, and full bathroom with walk-in shower and garden tub. A half-bath is also located on the main living floor.
Two additional bedrooms are downstairs. One has a queen sized bed, and the other a twin bed and a bunk bed with a twin and double bed. A full bath with a shower/tub combination is located downstairs, as well.
The great room downstairs also serves as a place to relax and spread out with a day bed doubling as a sofa or twin size bed and a pull out trundle. This room is spacious and allows a place for kids to play board games, work a puzzle, and enjoy their own TV shows. This room opens to the backyard area offering easy access to the dock.
It's an easy walk to the two slip dock via a concrete walkway followed by only 37 steps with hand railing to the dock. You can enjoy great fishing, kayaking, or just sunning and relaxing on this peaceful, deep water cove.

We spent a long weekend with another family at Janet’s home. There were ten of us- 4 adults and six children! The home was even better than advertised! Janet left us a sweet welcome note and some snacks to start us! The cove is quiet and relaxing! The covered back deck was perfect for relaxing in the early morning or at night. The bunk room and trundle bed in the den were perfect for the kids! There were plenty of lifejackets for swimming off the dock and exploring in the 3 kayaks. We will definitely be back!
