About this apartment rental

This beautiful property is only a short walk away from the centre of Javea. The beach is reachable in about 5 minutes by car. The separate apartment in the Villa La Jaima at the foot of the mountain Montgo was designed with great attention to details. The mix of styles from modern, Spanish and Moroccan elements is very well done. In every room and outdoor you will discover nice details.

The apartment has two separate bedrooms, one bath, a large fully equipped kitchen with dining area for up to 6 people, a spacious living room, a terrace with a roof and with sitting area and sofa, as well as a barbecue terrace with another dining area for up to 8 people.

The rooms are all bright and friendly. The bedroom “Yasmin” is furnished with a large double bed (240 x 190 cm). The bedroom “Orquídea” is equipped with two separate beds, which can be moved together.

No matter which window or door you look out, the beautiful Mediterranean outdoor area captures you immediately. The 10 x 5 m pool with brick staircase invites you to refresh yourself. A comfortable hammock and sun loungers on the green around the swimming pool invite you to relax. The entire property is fenced off. So, also parents with small children or dogs are invited to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Disappointed checked out early

We had reserved the apartment for 10 nights and left after 5. The two main reasons were wifi was poor, prior to booking I asked if the wifi was good as it is essential for us. It is shared with the upstairs owner and at its best was 4.09mbps download 0.5mbps upload. Secondly the main bedroom has two single beds pushed together, they are old very uncomfortable, lumpy and any slight movement squeaked, my husband slept in the lounge the final 3 nights. Other room no better The owner informed me no one had ever complained before and he had used without problem. This didn't help not really an answer, I would be completely amazed at anybody finding them comfortable After 2 sleepless nights I informed the owner we would be checking out early due to the above two issues, plus several other things I was unhappy about but would feedback on constructively. He informed me he wouldn't refund the full cost of the extra 5 nights also that he wasn't obliged to refund anything. I understand this but the apartment wasn't cheap especially for this time of year, and as a gesture of goodwill was surprised. I wasn't after compensation just a refund for the 5 nights. The apartment has lovely gardens which we appreciated but inside it needs attention. Briefly the main bedroom had black mould on the walls due to previous guests not ventilating room, if this is a problem back to back bookings shouldn't be taken. It was difficult to have a good shower as shower head needed replacing, also mould on walls. Kitchen cupboards and draws all need emptying, cleaning and organising. There was nowhere to put our food we had to make room. Pictures sent to owner of our findings. I asked also prior to booking, could I walk into Javea town from the apartment, I was advised it was 10 minutes. Admittedly it was 10 minutes to the outskirts, but you need a further 10 minutes to get to main hub. The walk is impossible of a night as no lighting, not many pavements and very narrow you have to step aside to allow cars to pass. It was difficult during daytime. All things considered I still left apartment as I found it, hoovered, washed sheets and towels as common courtesy in the hope the owner would reconsider holding onto our funds, as he wouldn't have to incur a full cleaning fee. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and no thanks received. I don't like to leave negetive reviews, but we both felt let down by the customer service and responses we received regarding our issues.

We had a lovely time at this great house. The garden is beautiful and the pool is excellent - large and deep. The house is well equipped and clean. Ingrid is very helpful and unobtrusive. We had great walks locally and trips to some fine beaches. The only downside was that there is no air con so it did get pretty warm! However there were good quality fans in the bedrooms. (We were there in a heatwave too so it was probably not typical).

We stayed in villa Lajaime for a month during Feb/March and had a wonderful time. The villa is an old traditional Spanish house with all the quirks that go with such a property but the situation, views and garden make it very special. Ingrid, the owner is a lovely person and very welcoming and helpful. The villa is only 10 minutes walk to old town Javea so is in an ideal position. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, much more a home from home than a rental house. There is even an electric juice press so we had fresh orange juice every day. The garden is beautiful and the views are fantastic. I can definitely recommend this villa.

This little bit of heaven has extraordinary gardens, great views, is high on the hills overlooking Javea and yet a short drive to anywhere in the town. It's beautifully decorated, comfortable, and peaceful. When we arrived, we were met by Ingrid, the owner's mother, who lives on the second floor. At first, I must confess, I was a little surprised by that, but Ingrid is so charming, friendly, and helpful that I don't think we would have had as good a time had she not been there. She is an absolute gem and is incredibly solicitous and warm. The garden and decor are her handiwork--everywhere you look there's something on which to feast one's eyes. And the few times we needed something, Ingrid sprang into action! We had planned to take more day trips into the town and surrounding towns but it was so peaceful at the villa that too many of our 11 day stay was spent just enjoying the house. We definitely recommend this property and plan to return.

The villa is lovely. The villa is well equipped and the facilities are fantastic. The pool was a lovely addition and very well maintained. It was glorious sat around the pool enjoying the sun. The garden is stunning and some beautiful plants. It is about a 10minute walk into the old town where there are plenty of supermarkets/shops together with bars and restaurants to enjoy. The beach is about a 40minute walk or 5 minute drive. Ingrid who lives above the apartment was extremely helpful and you would never have known she was there. We would highly recommend for a stay in Javea.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for such a warm welcome to your property. The pool and garden area was amazing and the boys (10 and 8 years old) absolutely loved spending time there. My family (spouse, adult daughter) stayed for 17 days using the apartment for a base in Javea from which we biked, hiked and explored each day. For us the location was fantastic - walking to Old Town (10 min) or Port (30-40 min), start of bike rides and hikes up Montgo/surrounding area. We needed a quiet place to sleep well at night and ease in making our own meals as needed. The option to heat the flat during the cool early or late hours of the day was welcome. While we didn't use the pool area (weather still too cool) the setting/garden was lovely. We felt we had value for money and Ingrid was wonderfully considerate. If you want a functional, comfortable & lovely natural setting (versus shiny/modern) that is well priced then you will enjoy.

This is a very special place where we spent 2months this year. The garden and pool are beautiful, clean and very safe...we took our dog and he loved it too. The villa has a rustic charm, comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. Our host Ingrid was an absolute delight, nothing was too much trouble and her recommendations meant that we had a real intoduction to Spainish life.

It's a really lovely house, very spacious and has a wonderfull green garden with a very nice and large pool. We have truly enjoyed our stay in Javea with our 2 children, age 10 en 11. Ingrid, the owner who lives above, is really lovely and helpfull. Also it's in walking distance to the old town (10-15 minutes) where you can eat en drink in very nice bodega's and restaurants.

La señora fue muy atenta con nosotras cuatro. La casa estaba en perfecto estado, el baño es amplio al igual que las dos habitaciones dobles. El salón es enorme y la cocina está súper bien equipada. Fuimos una semana de vacaciones y nos gustaría habernos quedado más! La piscina es más grande (y profunda) de lo que parece y vino maravilloso para el calor que hacía.

La estancia en la Jaima ha sido maravillosa. La casa tiene un jardín de ensueño, con una piscina increible, ideal para grandes y pequeños. Nunca hemos estado en una casa con un jardín como ese! 😍 Nuestra hija ha estado todo el dia metida en la piscina, y nuestra perrita feliz en el jardin. La casa muy comoda, con todo lo que se pueda necesitar, y barbacoa estupenda en el jardin. Pero lo mejor de todo es Ingrid, la anfitriona, que ademas de amable ha sido super cariñosa con nosotros! Eine Reise nach Javea in dieses Objekt ist unsererseits nur zu empfehlen. Der Empfang durch die gute Seele des Objektes war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Ingrid hatte für jedes Anliegen ein offenes Ohr. Ihre Hinweise zu Sehenswürdigkeiten waren äußerst hilfreich. Die FeWo und dessen Außenbereich waren sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Für den äußersten Notfall ist sogar eine Waschmaschine vorhanden, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Vermieterin Ingrid war sehr freundlich und gab uns gute Insider Tipps, z. B. zu Restaurants und Ausflügen. Bei Ankunft wartete schon ein kalter Wilkommensdrink im Kühlschrank. Grundstück , Haus und Pool trafen voll unsere Erwartungen. Wir haben fast immer draußen gesessen und oft den Grill genutzt. Unsere großen Kinder waren vom guten WLAN begeistert. Xabia und Denia sind trotz voller Strände im Juli/ August sehr angenehme Urlaubsorte mit einem vernünftigen Preis /Leistungsverhältnis und ohne Parkgebühren. Einfach ein perfekter Urlaub. Vielen Dank für Alles ! Thomas & Familie
