This is an absolutely fabulous apartment! The location is perfect for shopping, attractions, restaurants, anything else that you would need to see and do. The location is very walkable to everything. The apartment is large, very clean, very nicely decorated, and well stocked with everything that you could possibly think about needing.The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet and safe. The check-in process was easy and quick and the outside patio area was lovely and relaxing.I cannot say enough good things about this apartment, I would recommend it to everyone, and if we return to Heidelberg, we will be staying here again! Wonderful place.

It was a lovely property in a central location. The host met us there and explained how everything worked, there was an information booklet also. It was well equipped and there were fans in every room - it was very hot while we were there but we managed with the fans.

Fantastic property with lovely helpful hosts. Everything you need is here. Spacious and roomy with a lovely outside private balcony. Bedrooms and beds were excellent with very welcome fans in a hot period. Well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent right in the centre of the old town with all it’s amenities and yet it was so quiet and peaceful in the apartment. Highly recommended!

This is a very nicely kept 3-bedroom apartment in Heidelberg Altstadt. It has a great outside patio where we enjoyed a take-out dinner and wine on our final night (our warmest day in Heidelberg), and it would be a great place to stay in warmer weather. It is inside a moderately-old building with a courtyard, so the apartment is very quiet, but it is a very short walk to the pedestrian zone of old Heidelberg (very nearly in the zone). The host met us at the apartment and helped us in, and provides a folder of useful notes about the area. This was a great experience and we would certainly stay here again if/when we get back to Heidelberg.

I was so excited to return to Heidelberg with my family to show them the city I lived in as a student. The apartment was perfect for our stay, we all had space to stretch out after a long flight and could walk to Hauptstrasse or Bizmarktplaz easily.

The apartment is gorgeous and in a perfect location in Old City Heidelberg. The images on the listing do not do it justice! It is much more beautiful in person. The building is very quiet and we rarely saw anyone while coming in and out of the bldg. Once we parked our car in the parking garage (which is totally worth the extra fee) we left it there and walked everywhere every day. It was nice to know that the car was tucked away and safe while we toured. The hosts were very thorough on showing us the apartment and what there is to offer in the area. They even put up a Christmas tree for us to celebrate the holiday. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fully immersive experience in Old City Heidelberg and loves to walk all the nooks and crannies of the historic town. We will definitely rent here again when we come back to the area.

Wonderful rental property with a great location close to all things within Heidelberg. The property was very clean and met our expectations. Owners were very accommodating and helpful. If you are driving it can be a bit tricky to navigate with construction in the area but we managed with some help. Highly recommended and we will be back next year.

Initial issue with communication in German despite saying we were travelling from NZ. We experienced travel delays due to world wide issue and had arranged transport from airport with friends however “host” insisted we take train as they weren’t prepared to offer late check in !!! She may need to review what host means and communication was just rude ! Spoilt stay. No aircon!

This flat is in a wonderful spot, in a neighborhood so close to everything. It was a great home base for our week stay. It’s quiet and comfortable and clean. The only downside was that the place has no a/c, which would normally be fine but we happened to be there during the hottest week of the summer. The fans helped, but it was really warm, especially for sleeping. The showers aren’t the greatest, especially if you’re tall, and there were very few towels provided. However the kitchen was very well appointed, they provided everything needed for the washer, dryer, and dishwasher, the flat is large, and the roof deck is lovely (I wish it hadn’t been so warm so we could have used it more). Our kids would want me to share that the tv is an older and smaller one (I didn’t mind!). All-in-all, one of the top VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Thank you!

Our family of four absolutely loved this VRBO. There was plenty of room to stretch out in this large rental, conveniently located right next to a large public playground, shopping, and restaurants. Even though we were so close to the center of town, we were removed enough when we needed a quiet night of rest, but close enough when we wanted to get out and explore. The rental was clean, in fantastic condition, and the patio was a fantastic touch to get out and let the kids get some fresh air before it was time to go on another outdoor adventure. I hope to stay here every time we return to Heidelberg. Thanks Dr Martina! We look forward to our next trip.

The flat was perfect! and included a very large patio. Very clean and bright. Had everything we needed. We brought a 2 year old grandchild and they had things available for her. And it is right across from a playground, which was a big hit. Would highly suggest this flat to anyone.

What a beautiful property! Great location, within walking distance of many shops and cafes, in the heart of Old Town Heidelberg! Very comfortable, very clean, very nice, very quiet! Lovely roof-top deck which, sadly, we didn't use due to the ongoing rains. Dr. Martina is a lovely VRBO super host who was very easy to communicate with! What you see on the listing for this property is exactly what you get! Can and do strongly recommend this property if you're visiting Heidelberg for any length of time! You will love staying here!

This apartment was better than expected. Martina is a very responsive host and was very accommodating in giving us an early entry. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in an area, giving us easy access to the old town. The beds were comfotable and the kitchen was well equipped. This was a great find and if I visit Heidelberg in the future, I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

We loved staying at Martina's Heidelberg apartment. The spacious apartment was beautifully furnished and stocked with everything needed. We came in on a Sunday when the markets were closed. Martina had placed water and orange juice in the frig and offered pasta with pesto we could make if we were hungry. The location was perfect. Not only did the street the apartment was on have several restaurants and other shops, but we were a short block walk to The Hauptstrasse (the main street in Old Town). We hope to return to Heidelberg and want to stay in this apartment! We highly recommend!

This apartment is the perfect base of operations for your Heidelberg visit, we stayed there five nights, and did several day trips to surrounding towns. It is just a few steps off the main "strand" in Heidelberg, so there is easy access to shops, and it is a short walk to the university and Schloss. It is very cozy and has everything you need, and the hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. I would give it 10 stars if I could. We will most definitely be back. Book it now; you will be glad you did.

We had an amazing stay in Heidelberg! From meeting us upon our arrival to tracking down a restaurant with my sons favorite Bavarian food (Rouladen); the thoughtfulness and effort to make our stay wonderful is something we will cherish for years to come. The flat is large, beautifully decorated, full of light and remarkably quiet. In the heart of the old town, it is ideally situated for ambling round the narrow adjacent streets and is in walking distance of all you will want to see We also did longer walks in the surprisingly empty forests. Only negative point: in the largest bedroom I found no way of blocking out the light on the smaller window. Nonetheless, it was one of the best places I have rented. And I mustn't forget the pleasure of relaxing on the terrace!

Unit is well situated. Walk to most every thing or a transportation hub. Especially nice to sit on deck in the evening. Very well kept and host very helpful. Quite with good beds. Only draw back is 2 flights of stairs. Very warm while we were there but fans kept it nice.

Great place--spatious, comfortable beds, lots of daylight coming in windows and skylights, and in **perfect** location to explore old Heidelberg! Very quiet despite city location, thanks to heavy walls, triple-pane windows (which open, for good ventilation), and location at back of building. Big sunny deck to hang out on. Communications with owner could not have been better. She answered all my questions well in advance, was at the appartment to answer questions and show us around when we checked in, and even scouted out some live choral/organ concerts for us to attend once she learned of our interest! This was truly a find, one my best rental experiences to date, and all four of us left very happy with our Heidelberg visit.

Our family enjoyed Christmas in this well-appointed flat. Hauptstraße and the Christmas markets were just steps away but the flat was very quiet. The hosts even put up a tree and other decorations. A wonderful holiday!
