Authentic and charming Callian villa.

We were 11 adults using six rooms. The villa is perfect for a group this size with bedrooms well spread out. The villa is spacious and the outdoors incl pool is equally spacious and comprising several nice corners. However, the owners have underinvested in the place that appears a bit ‘tired’, eg electrical sockets are not closed, taps full of chalk, outdoors somewhat let to its own devices, kitchenware on the lower end for this many people, etc. All small things that could be fixed at a low cost. Our main disappointment was, however, to experience that the outdoor cleaning hadn’t been done, eg food left in the grill, pool a little dirty, and that two beds broke during our stay which only fixed with an xtra night’s delay, and so forth. It was also disappointing that there were no parasols around the pool making it much harder to use during the day; presumably previous guests had broken them. All of this to say that the house is great for a large group but that it will take some time and small effort to bring it up to standards. We appreciate that the cost for renting is not high but would be happy to pay more to see the house to its full potential.
