Nestled in a classic 19th-century Parisian 'stone' building, our 1-bedroom ground floor (first floor US) apartment overlooks a serene garden courtyard. It is situated in a residential and safe neighbourhood known as 'Le village des Batignolles.'
The apartment is a 20-minute walk from Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur, offering one of the most breathtaking views of Paris. Additionally, it is just 15 minutes on foot from Place Clichy and the renowned antiques shop area, 'Les Puces de St Ouen.'
Within 200 meters, you can find two beautiful parks with children's playgrounds, a traditional French market, numerous shops (bakery, dairy cheese & other dairy products, butcher, French delicatessen, supermarket, etc.), and various restaurants and bars.
Velib' city-wide bicycle renting station is located right in front of the apartment, with two metro stations and bus stations conveniently close by (line 13, 3 minutes walk and line 14, 8 minutes walk). The apartment is just one metro stop away from Haussmann-St Lazare station (next to Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, and all the famous fashion shops), seven stations from the Champs Elysées (15 minutes), and four stations from Parc Monceau (10 minutes). Access from CDG or Orly airports, or from Bercy, Gare de Lyon, and Gare du Nord railway stations, is straightforward and quick.

Benoit's apartment was an excellent choice for our six days in Paris. We were greeted by Alan and found the apartment with no problems. It is set back away from the street, which blocks the everyday noise. It is convenient to the Metro, grocery stores and bakeries. We felt very safe in this area and apartment. There was plenty of room, very comfy and we felt at home. Our only complaint was the neighbors above us, were very loud with a child.
