Holiday House in Nature with Pool, Pr Matažič

Merveilleuse maison au calme, vue magnifique sur les montagnes, maison accueillante, propre, équipée parfaitement, jardin, potager, piscine. La maison est très située pour découvrir le pays( Velika Planina 25 min, bled et vintgar 45 min, Ljubljana 30 min, Postojna et Škocjan 1h …) Les propriétaires sont très très gentils, disponibles. Ils nous ont aidé très gentiment pour choisir nos visites en Slovénie. Un très grand merci à vous, nous avons adoré séjourner ici !

Fantastisch uitzicht, mooie plek op een stille locatie in een mooi land. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die hun huis met liefde beheren. Zwembad in de tuin is heerlijk. En een laadpaal bij het huis maakt dit ook ideaal voor EV rijders.

Our stay was greatly enriched by the phenomenal hospitality provided by our hosts. They were not only welcoming but also extremely helpful throughout our time there, always ready to lend a hand or answer any inquiries. Their commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay for their guests was quite evident. The accommodation itself surpassed our expectations in terms of amenities. It was well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen that facilitated our meal preparations without any hitch. The charming decor added a touch of warmth and homeliness, making us feel right at home despite being away. Furthermore, the property boasted an abundant green landscape that provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The tranquility offered by the location was a refreshing change from the usual city noise. The ability to enjoy peace and quiet was truly appreciated. The provision of a pool safety cover was also a commendable feature. With two young children, pool safety was a concern for us, but the hosts had ensured the pool was well-secured, effectively alleviating our worries.

Despite the many positives, our stay was not without its drawbacks. The narrow, dangerous access road leading to the property was a constant source of concern. The frequent presence of cyclists on this road meant extra caution had to be taken during our trips. Also, the house's temperature distribution was a bit uncomfortable. We visited in June and despite the rainy weather, the upstairs bedrooms became uncomfortably hot and stuffy. On the contrary, the kitchen and dining area on the ground floor felt very cold and damp. The Wi-Fi was also problematic. Despite being connected to the modem, we were constantly receiving an error message indicating no internet access. This was quite frustrating as we had expected to have internet access. Fortunately, we were able to use our own GSM internet during the stay which alleviated this problem to an extent. In conclusion, while the welcoming hosts, great amenities, stunning decor, and serene location were significant plus points, there were notable areas of improvement such as uneven temperature distribution within the house and unreliable Wi-Fi. Nevertheless, our own GSM internet was a lifesaver and helped keep us connected. Despite these, we believe that the overall experience was rewarding, thanks to the exceptional hospitality and thoughtfully equipped accommodation.
