Chalet Gorenjka - Velika planina

Location is absolutely stunning. Set away from the other chalets there are views across to the mountains at the back and to Ljubljana at the side. Pantry selection was good. We booked the breakfast which is served or collected from Zelenski Rob restaurant (500m) and really good value (eggs, meat, bread, cheese and drink). We did both options. Came up on the cable car and chairlift which was a fantastic experience (€68 for family of 4). Really glad we took the hot tub option as watching the night sky at that altitude is amazing.

I wasn’t expecting a mandatory cleaning charge of €140 to be added after we had booked the accommodation. The restaurant hadn’t received our breakfast order so they weren’t expecting us. It turned out fine in the end just had to wait a bit longer.

Vue magnifique, emplacement isolé des autres chalets sans aucuns vis à vis. Le chalet est super bien équipé, il ne manque rien.
