About this house rental
Large house recently redone with taste and all modern comforts: pleasant living rooms with fireplace, large kitchen and large dining room; two living rooms one for the children and one for the parents. The bedrooms are upstairs and well insulated, and the garden is easily accessible, full of flowers.
The cottage is located in the commune of Plessis Dorin in the Loir-et-Cher. Located on the borders of Perche, Beauce, Sologne and Touraine, it finds its territorial identity in the diversity of its geography and landscapes.
To discover the Perche in the heart of a regional park with hilly and wooded country, where you will arrive in a house full of charm, very pleasant to live in with all modern comforts. An ideal base for excursions to the castles of the Loire but also to the historical sites in the surrounding area: Château de Montmirail, Commanderie d'Arville, Château de Chaumont sur Loire and many churches that abound in pictorial riches...
Great walking trails are available in the surrounding forests: Montmirail forest, Boisvinet pond, Beaulieu ponds...
In order to give you sports activities found in the town and the surrounding towns: fishing, horse riding (Les écuries de la Boulonnière), tennis (Beaulieu, Mondoubleau), leisure centre of La Ferté Bernard, swimming pools (Mondoubleau, Vibraye).the private swimming pool will be open on request at certain times of the day
Le Plessis Dorin is 40 minutes from Vendôme train station (42 minutes to Paris by TGV) and 30 minutes from La Ferté Bernard train station.
Chartres, its cathedral and the old town are 1 hour from the cottage. Le Mans and its historic center are 45 minutes away. The swimming pool can be made available on request at certain times of the day

The house is gorgeous and it's set in the most beautiful gardens. Our host Christine was so welcoming. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children. Well equipped for children with a swing and trampoline in the garden. Comfortable beds. There is a restaurant opposite that does 4 courses with coffee and a glass of wine for less than 15 euros. It's very, very quiet and peaceful

The property is historic and absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for our group of 10. The house is very spacious, with almost a separate apartment on the top floor which our teenagers loved. The garden is wonderful too. And there’s lots of games to play like badminton and table tennis, and a trampoline. Christine is a kind host and we felt welcome throughout and will have very fond memories of our stay.
