About this apartment rental
This beautifully renovated historic home originally built in 1875 and updated in 2016. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath first-floor apartment is located across the street from the south end of Forsyth Park and offers classic charm in an urban setting. The living area has great views of the park, comfortable seating, a large flatscreen TV, and a decorative fireplace.
The fully equipped kitchen is newly updated and includes a dining area with seating for 6-8. The primary bedroom features a Queen sized bed, TV, decorative fireplace, and an attached full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The 1st Guestroom features a King bed and TV. The 2nd guest room features a Queen bed and TV. There is an additional full bathroom off the living room with a walk-in shower. Throughout the apartment, you will find: new mattresses, beautiful and stylish furniture, and accessories, new paint, refinished floors, high ceilings, and much more!
There are an in-unit washer and dryer for guest convenience along with central air/heat and wireless internet. This home has a shared entryway and shared front porch from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of Forsyth Park.
Note: Fireplaces are sealed and non-working, but they add to the ambiance. No off-street parking is available. Street parking is free in this neighborhood. Street parking is free in this neighborhood. This home is separated from the park by Drayton Street which is a well-traveled one-way road with a speed limit of 35, there may be street noise.
Guests can walk or bike to many nearby amenities including Forsyth Park: Many events are held at the park throughout the year. It is a great choice for picnics, outdoor sports, walking, and jogging. Just across the street are the free tennis courts! This is also where you will find the famous Forsyth fountain and is a popular spot for weddings in Savannah. Also, the Forsyth Farmer’s Market is a great early Saturday morning event to attend.
Dining: Fine dining or cocktails at The Mansion on Forsyth Park is located about 2.5 blocks away. Around the corner, you can find Brighter Day Natural Foods along with The Sentient Bean Coffee Shop. Local 11 Ten is another great dining option nearby.

The location is absolutely perfect if you are traveling with young kids. Our group was two families with 3 kids (3,2, and 1.) Every morning we walked to the coffee shop across the street and then walked to the playground. The splash pad was also right there too! It was a bit of a walk to get to the more touristy things, but not too bad. There was also parking right across the street in a free parking lot. The home is definitely old with very thin walls, so just be prepared for street noise. Also, the doors don’t have a lock from the inside so little kids can easily open the door and walk out, we just put the chair in front of the door at night to ease our minds! Lastly, the beds and furniture weren’t the most comfortable but for a shorter visit it was fine!

The unit is in a great spot. The layout is a tad bit wonky but everything was VERY clean and functional. Off street parking was not bad at all with the tennis court lot across the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was conveniently located near a coffee and other shops and directly across the street from the park. Parking was very convenient as well. The house was modernized without losing its charm and roomy for three adults.

The property is on a GREAT location, right off Forsyth park. The property became available earlier than 4pm check in and gave us a one hour extension for check out. The positive things I can say end there.
We were staying Friday -Sunday and their offices are apparently closed on the weekends. I guess that gives us a window 4pm-5pm on Friday to call the office if there are any issues. I messaged them on Saturday via the VRBO app because my friend said the shower and sink in her room were clogging up and not draining properly. They never responded to my message. When I dug through my emails and found their check out process, I tried calling their contact number that was an automated message about how they are closed on the weekends and to only call for emergencies. The message also said that if we call for something that’s not an emergency, we would be charged. We decided to leave it alone and instead have all 6 of us use the other bathroom (which contributed to us needing to check out later). When I messaged afterwards about a partial discount, they claimed that they never got my message and that their offices were open 7 days a week and basically blamed me. I would provide screenshots of my messages and emails and call logs if this review allowed for it. Lastly, the wifi sucked and the ironing board is completely warped and broken and hanging off of a holder in the wall that is falling out of the drywall.
Overall, I’m disappointed with the service. Next time I will go with an attentive host as opposed to a neglectful property management company.
