The house 'At the crossroads of the senses' is a subtle blend of modern combined with the charms of ancient stones. You can enjoy a fully renovated 120 m2 house with 3 bedrooms upstairs, a kitchen and a living room which give you access to a large teak terrace with access to the swimming pool and the garden.
The accommodation is ideally located in a very quiet area near the City of Carcassonne (World Heritage) and 2 steps from the edge of the Aude offering beautiful walks or bike rides. Its location allows you to leave your vehicle and enjoy Carcassonne, it will only take you 10 minutes to reach the center of the lower town on foot.

We were pleasantly surprised with this house and Melanie was the perfect host. She was there waiting for us, even though our plane was late and we had delays at the airport. Throughout the booking process she answered all our questions. During the stay, she went out of her way to resolve an issue with the pool. She was great.
The house is modern and was clean with comfortable beds and good facilities. It was perhaps bigger than I expected which was great with safe parking in the garage. Often in holiday homes, the basics are not provided but in this house there is a good supply of the basics including plenty of cleaning products, soap, toilet paper and cooking essentials. This really helped to save on buying the basics and helped us keep the house clean.
The location is excellent near the Bastide (15mins) and the Cite (30mins) if walking. It was hot but we managed ok. There is a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops nearby to meet all your needs. The nearby bakery, supermarket and pizza shop were very, very convenient.

Maison moderne à côté du centre ville tout en étant dans une rue calme.
Propre, avec tout le nécessaire. Piscine propre également, pas chauffée mais nous nous sommes tout de même baignés.
Séjour parfait, propriétaires agréables et accueillants, rien à redire !

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil par les propriétaires, la maison est superbement rénovée, située dans un quartier calme de Carcassonne , à deux pas de la Bastide (et ses bons restos!) et de la Cité médiévale. De belles visites sont à faire dans la région. Nous recommandons de tout coeur cette location!
