About this villa rental
Newly renovated villa in gated PGA National. Brand new wood floors!! All new kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances and washer/dryer in unit. Fully equipped Kitchen and bar. Crown molding throughout. Memory foam mattresses on two full size guest room beds .King size mattress in Master. Queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Entire unit has been updated and refreshed from paint to linens, to window coverings and LED lighting. Flat screen TVs, DVD player, high speed wireless internet. Outdoor furnished wrap around screened porch. Move in... All you need is your clothing and golf clubs!
Golf at lots of public courses close by. Lots of restaurants and beaches close by. The local mall and theaters are 2 miles away. 3 month minimum for Jan-March. Our POA requires 15 days to approve rentals. . * Golf and pool at the resort are for hotel quests only*

I would definitely recommend staying at this condo. We loved the location and community pool. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The condo was well decorated and had everything we needed. Restaurants and grocery store are right around the corner. PBG is a beautiful location.

This is an older condo on the PGA National Resort grounds. The owners have made many improvements that are accurately depicted in the photos. But there are some things that really detracted from our stay that future renters need to assess for themselves. First, there are large lights on the outside of every building lighting up the parking lot. Great for safety but horrible for sleeping in the bedroom with two beds. Owners need to add a room darkening shade for the comfort of their guests. Second, the secondary bathroom shower tub is very, very slippery. There is a rubber mat there to use but many people, like me in my 40s will remove it. Unfortunately, I fell one night and hit my head on the side of the tub. Not a huge accident but not what you want to be dealing with on vacation. The owners need to fix the problem and put permanent anti-skid stickers on the tub floor. I wouldn't suggest this for all tubs but this one is very dangerous and needs to be fixed.
Third, there are little things that need upgrading. The pillows in all bedrooms are very poor quality and seem very old. Same with the sheets provided (but towels are great). Many of the utensils and cooking implements in the kitchen have been upgraded (and there's a good assortment) but the pots and pans are low quality and the non-stick is very well worn or scratched. I found cooking anything more than a spaghetti dinner to be very unattractive. Finally, the living room couch is good but only fits 2 people comfortably or maybe 3 a little tighter. The two wicker chairs have very well worn cushions and therefore aren't comfortable at all. If you're a 4 person family you will struggle to find enough seating in that room without pulling over dining room chairs.
Because this condo is older, it's a good size. I think with a little TLC and some upgrades both for safety and for comfort, this condo would be much more attractive to renters.
