About this apartment rental
Stay on the outskirts of the Vienna Woods, let yourself be woken up by twittering birds and enjoy breakfast in a glass-veranda from where you can enjoy the sight of the rolling hills of the Vienna Woods. If you want to attend cultural events in Vienna, the highly efficient underground U4 will take you to the city-centre - where most of the historical sites are situated - in just a few minutes. (In fact, it takes only 30 minutes from the living-room to St. Stephen’s Square and 20 minutes to the castle Schönbrunn which may well be faster than from a central district in Vienna as you do not have to change trams or buses).
Shopping: Shops, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets etc. are situated within a few minutes’ walk. A shopping-mall with a cinema-complex is 10 minutes away.
Sports: For those who like sports there is a mountain bike-trail (there are bikes for rent) in front of and a hiking trail behind the house which lead you directly into the Vienna Woods. There is a swimming pool only 5 minutes away and a lake in Tullnerfeld only 30 minutes away. There is free parking in front of the house as well as facilities where you can leave your bicycle.

We stayed in this apartment for 23 nights and departed with our hearts full of happiness for our wonderful stay:
- The apartment is comfy, cozy & quiet and fully matched what we expected.
- The apartment is adequately equipped with all necessary utensils.
- The location could not be ANY better.
- Using Purkersdorf as a main base, we’re able to explore Vienna and the Niederösterreich Wein region (including Kamptal, Kremstal, Wachau, Traisental and Wagram).
- I'm very glad to declare to the owner Mr. Walter: Thank you so much for your attentiveness, your kindness and all tips, suggestions & details you gave in order to make us feel (very) comfortable.

We were looking for a wonderful place to celebrate my Mother's 75th birthday and came across this gem. Both Bridgette and Walter are the most wonderful hosts. They made our booking effortless and are welcomed us warmly into their beautiful apartment. They provided useful travelling tips which made our visit all the more comfortable and easy. The apartment is well located and a short drive from Vienna although transport links are efficient and close by. We had an amazing time and hope to return again very soon.

I spent 12 days in a well-appointed ground floor apartment, with a fully-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, TV, and WiFi/internet access. The apartment is conveniently located to public transportation, and therefore provides ready access to the surrounding area. My best decision in planning was to not rent a car, because it was totally unnecessary for someone whose focus was the nearby city.
Perhaps the most impressive aspect of my stay had to do with the focused helpfulness of the hosts. They arranged taxi pickup for me at the airport, and return as well. I was personally oriented to the public transportation, and local shopping, Copious printed material/maps were present in the apartment covering every conceivable attraction.
For someone who truly desires to make a home away from home, these accommodations fill the bill. I prepared many meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Because of the winter conditions, I could not take advantage of the enclosed, large, furnished sun-room that adjoined my bedroom, but it would be wonderful to seat/eat out there during the other seasons.
I recommend these accommodations without reservation, particularly to someone desiring a quiet, peaceful location.
