About this house rental
The house, built in 2012, can accommodate up to 6 people and is located in a very quiet location in the Niederoybin district of Oybin. The lovingly furnished holiday home is equipped with a high quality fitted kitchen, a fireplace, satellite TV and a stereo with CD / DVD player.
On the approximately 850 sqm plot with a sun terrace and large lawn, you have the opportunity to relax in peace. From the sheltered veranda, which is equipped with a flat screen television, you can see the 582 m high mountain "Töpfer" and at the edge of the forest the historical "Zittau narrow-gauge railway" that drives several times a day. The bakery and other shops are within 500 m walking distance.

This property is in Lower Saxony - near a (beautiful) town called Zittau. A relaxing, history filled week with day trips to Dresden, Bautzen, Gorlitz and very thought provoking day at Theresienstadt. This house is just across the borders from Poland (fill up your gas tank in Poland) and the Check Republic. The property manager (next door neighbor) went above and beyond to help us understand the town, the area and places to eat and visit. Often, in the local towns when our lack of German let us down - the shop keepers would ask "why are you staying here, or visiting here?" They were confused as to why an American family would visit when German's rarely know this gem exists. Our view - it is because it is full of history, Christmas Markets with some beautiful architecture. We selected this location prior to a week in Prague. We are so happy we did.

Das Ferienhaus ist schön mit einem wirklich tollen Ausblick und wir haben uns gut erholt.
Leider klebten am Geschirr noch die Essensreste vom Vorgänger. Verbesserungswürdig ist im jedem Fall das Doppelbett im OG. Dieses knarrt fürchterlich und benötigt mal eine neue Matratze. Der Grillplatz unter der großen Eiche ist wirklich schön und könnte erheblich durch bequeme Gartenstühle mit Auflagen aufgewertet werden. Auch über einen Gartentisch hätten wir uns gefreut.
