Riviera Holiday Home Near the Sea

The apartment was lovely and actually much more spacious than it appears in the photos. It comfortably accommodated the four of us, with comfortable beds and plenty of sleeping space. The patio was a great bonus and received plenty of sunshine during the day. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the sea and promenade, with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. A grocery store is only a few steps away, and there is also a Lidl and several convenience stores within a short drive. Malta Aquarium is walking distance, with kids playground next to it, and Cafe del Mar on the other side. The area is lively,but not noisy, so will suit wide range if guests. Mark welcomed us personally, showed us around, and made us feel at home from the start. A special thank you for allowing us to check in early—it was a huge help after our early flight, especially as we were travelling with small children. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats and thoughtfulness about guests. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils, and we were provided with useful extras for cooking, laundry, and the bathroom. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, the owners make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay.

devo necessariamente lasciare una recensione a questo appartamento: Il proprietario è stato gentile, disponibile, attento alle nostre esigenze e ci ha coccolato facendoci trovare tante cose in casa che andavano ben oltre a quello che doveva offrirci. L'appartamento è grande comodo fresco e situato in una posizione strategica. vicinissimo ad almeno 4 fermate del bus ( quindi puoi raggiungere ogni parte dell' isola). Per me è diventato un punto di riferimento ogni volta che ritornerò a Malta. Grazie grazie grazie !!!

it was a very last minute booking, so there were around 5-7 properties to choose from. we are not really picky and knew exactly what to expect. normally, I wouldn't book it, but everything was really overpriced, so we took the cheapest one. Overall it's a good place. located on the ground floor, we found it a bit odd having people passing by looking in the window though. there's a spar supermarket right at the corner and we had no problem finding a parking space. The sea is close, but there's no normal beach. Restaurants are close as well, but still need to take a good 10-15 minute walk if you want something other than english breakfast/pizza (there's a really good neapolitan pizza place nearby - made in Sud - with the worst service in the world, but the pizza was veeeery good ;) There's a nice terrace, although due to the weather we weren't able to use that much. I would say that the place is quiet. Mark - the owner - is nice and helping.

cockroaches are everywhere.. like everywhere. even in the fridge :( perhaps it's a global problem on malta, no idea, but i wouldn't book it if I knew it before. we had to spend quite some time cleaning and desinfecting everything upon arrival home as we defo not want these in our home...
