About this cottage rental

it is the annex to the old school in Kirmutscheid, which is a listed building inside and out. The school was founded in 1829.
It is a small half-timbered house with a terrace and plenty of space outside. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen with dining area, cloakroom, bathroom and storage room. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with 2 single beds (each 1x2m) and a loft with a double bed (160x200).

The house is suitable for lovers of authentic, historical buildings and for nature lovers. If you're looking for modern comfort, you've come to the wrong place. However, anyone who would like to trace life in the "good old days", which was not always so good, is cordially invited. The passage width of the doors is smaller than usual, one of the doors is only 50cm wide. The upstairs is narrow, but easy to walk. In the bedroom, standing height of 175 cm is only guaranteed on the outer wall.
The dwarf school is very nice for 2 people, good for 3 and still sufficient for 4 people.
The lonely location in the forest is excellent for hikers, nature lovers and Nürburgring visitors.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove / oven, refrigerator, boiling water device, coffee machine, toaster. You will find a dining service, a sufficiently large number of cooking utensils and other kitchen equipment.
In the living room a sofa and 2 armchairs invite you to relax, the satellite TV receives the usual programs. There is no internet connection here because it is not possible. Cell phone reception is better or worse to receive, depending on the provider, SMS are always delivered.

The slope behind the house leads to the Trierbach, which often leads to floods, but which cannot rise up to the house. On the bank below the house there is a barbecue area where you can sit in the shade and refresh yourself in the river at any time.

The Wirftbachschleife hiking trail leads right past the house. the space next to the house is often used by hikers as a starting point for this tour.

The entrance to the Nürburgring GP loop and the Welcome Center is 10 km away and can be reached directly via the B528 in a few minutes.
The city of Adenau, through which the Nordschleife can be reached directly via the B528 in a few minutes.
The city of Adenau, through which the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring leads, is 6 km away and offers all shops.
It is 55 km to Bonn, 68 km to Koblenz and 100 km to Spa Francorchamps.
The border with Belgium is 46 km away.
Dogs are particularly welcome, there is a fee of € 10/3 days of stay.
One more word about the handling of the house and the furniture: Since the house is protected inside and outside, special attention must be paid to its maintenance. Under no circumstances should anything be damaged on the substance, as changes and replacements are not permitted. The furniture itself is not very sensitive and cannot be damaged under normal use. Parties are not allowed, normal rest periods apply.
Important: Bookings are only possible for the current year, regardless of what the apartment calendar shows.

Absolut charmantes Häuschen in schöner Umgebung ;-)
Absolut charmantes Häuschen in schöner Umgebung ;-)
