The whole place was great everything I needed nice and warm very close to town and everything you need so for people saying its out the way that’s not true few minutes walk to bus station and metro close to the university would definitely stay again

This is a superb place and lovely and quiet …. Was doing a night shift so magic to get your head down and handy to have some fun in town

Convenient place to lay my head

No breakfast included. Location was excellent. I was attending a concert in Sunderland and, as I live in Alnwick, it was impossible to get back home. It was a short walk from the venue and at no point did I feel threatened in the area or on the walk back. Idea l for an overnight stay. Very comfortable bed

The property was big and the parking was ideal. The bathroom was quite new but the light switch was extremely dirty

The bed was the most uncomfortable that I’ve slept in for years. I know it was cheap accommodation but the poor quality mattress and bedding was not acceptable. The towels have seen better days and the decor was poor.

Home Better than Home.

Whole experience was excellent, way more than a simple room I expected. The Room Sweet Apartment was specious and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were a boon and also unexpected. I felt very welcomed and appreciated by the kind Host. Family Friendly Environment and very safe for short and long terms. Home Better than Home.

The property was well kitted out , bedding clean , bathroom and kitchen well stocked and modern . The renovations could have been more skilful but did not detract from vfm .?

Was nice and clean, good communication from owner, not far from the hospital which was the reason for our trip

The property is in a run down area but we had no issues there at all, parked from 3pm to 9.30am with blue badge no issues

Convenient comfortable apartment

The apartment is basic but has what you need and is a short walk into the city centre. Bed was comfortable and good shower. Ideal for an overnight stay if going to a gig or a show. Parking is possible in front of apartment if you arrive after 3pm and leave before 9am as the resident permit only applies 9-10 am and 2-3pm. Good value.

The lockbox information wasn't sent until the afternoon I was arriving. It would have been better to have been made aware beforehand that it is normal for it to be sent just before arrival.

The bed was comfortable. We liked the tap in the bathroom.

Dirty cup in cupboard. No teatowel to dry crockery. Complicated to get hot water. Poorly finished. Very uneven floor. If you come by car the check out time is actually 9am as its permit only from 9-10am.

Azalea terrace upgrade

Beautiful girly pink apartment crushed velvet bed. Red hot heating, walk in shower, fridge etc all there. Shared entrance but the flat itself is tucked away at the back no nuisance or noise.

Them lock box key things are difficult to open and couldn't get in for a while.

A peaceful, spotless apartment with an incredibly thoughtful host, made my trip extra special.

I absolutely loved how warm and welcoming the host was. She went above and beyond to accommodate me by allowing an early check-in, which meant a lot as I had just arrived from London and needed to get ready for a graduation ceremony. The apartment itself was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed. The check-in instructions were clear and very helpful, and the overall communication was smooth and kind throughout. The location is peaceful, yet convenient, and everything worked perfectly, including heating and WiFi. I truly felt at home.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

Average studio without high expectations close to city centre

The apartment was an average place that matched the price and my expectations based on this. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The apartment looks comfortable and it was very close to the centre of the city( 10 mins walk). The price was convenient and it matched the kind of apartment you will find. Host was responsive and did address all my queries.

It was a positive stay overall but few things could have been improved such as: 1) CLEANLINESS: when I lifted the duvet to put myself in bed, I found two moths sleeping before me in bed. Therefore, I slept on the top of the duvet as I wasn’t feeling like I wanted to sleep with moths. I am a fairly adaptable guy but this can be a biggie for someone else. 2) REMINDERS: after the first reminder upon my booking to vacate the room by 10 am, for the first time in my life I also received a message in the morning to “remind” me to vacate the room SLIGHTLY BEFORE 10am as the cleaner had to start cleaning the apartment (not sure when on earth, it is more important for the cleaner to be in the room at 10 am rather than letting the customer to feel free to leave AT 10am- especially considering that the room was only clean at very basic levels upon my arrival). 3)SUN LIGHT- I happened to be in Sunderland on a sunny day at the end of April and unfortunately a lot of light came through the kitchen window which woke me up very early in the morning and didn’t have a sleep mask with me. So I have to use a towel on the window kitchen.

A pleasant and affordable stay in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

The apartment at Azalea Terrace comprised of a lounge and kitchenette with a separate en-suite bedroom, situated adjacent, at the rear of the property. The accommodation, located on the ground floor, was fully equipped with all the amenities needed for self-catering and was also very quiet throughout our stay. Excellent value for money, too.

There could have been more power sockets in the bedroom, but this was only a minor issue.
