About this apartment rental
Relax in a lounge chair on the patio and catch some warm sun. Go for a swim in the big pool or the ocean. Barbecue some steaks or shrimps. Chillax in a lounge chair.
This is a beautifully decorated (in Mexican colors) 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, two-story townhouse condo. The interior is modern and clean. Bedroom 1 is downstairs and has a king size bed and an en-suite shower and bathroom. Bedroom 2 is the upstairs front room and has a king size bed and an en-suite shower and bathroom. Bedroom 3 is the upstairs back room (over the patio) and has a full size bed.
The tiled patio area includes a granite table with 6 chairs and an umbrella, an artistically tiled big barbecue, two lounge chairs, and tropical plants in planters and pots. The patio area is very private and gets a lot of afternoon sun. The patio area is especially cozy at night becsuse of the lighting.
The rental fee for the condo includes: electricity, propane gas, water/sewer/garbage removal, wifi, and all condo amenity privileges.
Housekeeping service is available for 750 pesos per cleaning.
The townhouse/condo is across the street from the beach, a 10-15 minute walk. Also a 15-minkte walk is a convenience store, pharmacy, fruteria, and several restaurants. There are many English speakers in the condo's development. The property is located in the Villa Marina development of Mazatlan, a 15-minute bus ride to the Golden Zone (the newer, more touristy shopping, restaurant and nightclub district), and a 30-45 minute bus ride to El Centro (the historic district with Spanish and French architecture.). Going in the other direction, the townhouse/condo is a 5-minute bus ride to Cerritos beach, where you can buy jewelry and other Mexican homeade goods, have a massage, or eat fresh lobster, fish and shrimp right off the boat.
There is a beautiful green bicycle/walking path adjacent to the development that runs along the beach.

I would stay here again. Was well described. Plenty of space and especially liked the patio. The owner was easy to work with. Lots of beach towels, dishes, spices, pots and pans. Even baking supplies. Good supply of games.

The condo is just as described and as shown in the video. The kitchen is well set up and we really enjoyed the enclosed court yard in the back yard. The owner was great to deal with and the condo manager Anny was very helpful. The condo development is safe, clean and well maintained. And we liked that it was only a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach and had easy connection via local bus to all the main tourist areas of Mazatlan. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
A minor annoying issue.
The internet was just OK. Almost every day it would be ON first thing in the morning and then go OFF until about 4 or 5 in the afternoon and then come ON again. It was also completely OFF for about 8 days in our 6 week stay. So no TV as it only works via internet and no connection if you rely on it for connecting for business or family while you are away. Thankfully when we explained our problem to the condo association manager he let us connect to the WIFI at the pool, as we had some important things to deal with back home on days the internet was not working. I suppose this would be OK for people who have Cell phones and can connect that way, but we did not have this option.

My two children and I spent the month of August 2014 at this property and I would highly recommended.
The location is excellent. You are very close to the beach and the bus route to take you into downtown Mazatlan.
The property is in a gated community with security guards who monitor closely the comings and going of the residents and guests. I felt incredibly safe. Those who live in the community were incredibly friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay.
Robert was an incredible owner and did everything in his power to ensure we had a great time. I plan to rent this home again It's an excellent value.

My wife and I took a leap of faith spending a month in Mazatlan Mexico last spring(’14); our leap was rewarded with a singular life experience. Our stay was in this exceptional vacation rental which we found perfect in every way; and the community, Villa Marina, is safe, convenient, clean, accommodating and charming! For their part, the condo’s owners are responsive, honest, considerate and professional. We are so pleased and satisfied that February 2015 is booked!
