About this house rental
Luhdorf is a district of Winsen, but has largely preserved its village character. In addition to various farm shops, there are two bakers, for example to pick up fresh rolls in the morning by bike. Through Luhdorf flows the river Luhe, in which one can take a bath or swim very well or also do canoeing. The center of Winsen (Luhe) is within a few minutes drive, there are very good shopping possibilities. By using the nearby motorway, it is only 20 km to Lüneburg or 35 km to Hamburg. Both cities can also be reached by train with HVV tickets from Winsen station. To the Lüneburger Heide (and the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide) it is not even 20 KM. This route is also very nice to cycle along the Luhe cycle path.
By car you can reach the exit "Winsen-Ost" of the A39 motorway within three minutes. From there you get very quickly to Hamburg or Lüneburg. Winsen is part of the Hamburg Transport Association (HVV). With an HVV ticket you can get into the bus in Luhdorf and go with the Metronom (train) in only 20 minutes to Hamburg (or 10 minutes to Lüneburg). The best way is to buy a 9:00 o'clock all day ticket. You can then travel all day in Hamburg, even on the Elbe ferries (for example the very popular line 62 from Landungsbrücken to Finkenwerder).
Amenities at Pearl of the Nordheide, just outside of Hamburg
