Apartment with sea view

Pleasant stay at this beach front location with spectacular views of Lisbon and awesome sunsets. Close proximity to shopping and food scene. Will definitely look it up to stay again when I return to this amazing area.

Great location, great apartment at a beautiful beach. The only fault was that we couldn't check in until 7pm. When you have been travelling for 3 weeks and left your previous destination at 5am you really want to get in your accommodation especially with large suitcases. They let us drop our bags there at 415 pm, but we had to come back for 7pm. Apparently the previous people that day had a late checkout of 1pm so that was nice for them

Beautiful view and fabulous beach steps away!

The view makes this property. A balcony which is almost 20 metres long affords panoramic views of the beaches and Tagus estuary, probably the best views in Caparica! Obviously, the balcony can get very windy at times. The description and photos of the property are very accurate but in spite of this we were somewhat disappointed. The apartment is basic but functional - minimalist Ikea style. We noted a previous review commented on lack of toiletries on arrival and we fully support that - no soaps and only one toilet roll for two weeks. There were also no beach towels but when we asked about them they were provided. The microwave would cut out after about 3 minutes and we could not work out how to use the features other than basic microwave - an instruction booklet would have been useful. With this in mind the lack of an oven was very limiting. Good shower but went cold after about a minute before turning hot again - we only used the basic shower. With a lack of air conditioning a fan would have been nice. The location is excellent. Two decent supermarkets within 6 or 7 minutes walk, My Auchan and Mini Precio. Both good. Word of warning; we had to wait about an hour to get into the apartment (agreed beforehand) so went for a coffee into the cafe just below the apartment. We got robbed blind -€8.20 for 2 capuccinos - later discovered that the normal restaurant price is €2.50 per capuccino.
