About this house rental
This pretty, modern wooden house with private sauna is small but nice and just a few steps away from the sandy Baltic Sea beach.
The house is lovingly furnished in Scandinavian style so that you will immediately feel at home. It was built using high-quality log construction and is furnished with cosy oak floorboards. The natural building materials ensure a particularly pleasant indoor climate at any time of year. A modern designer fireplace provides cosiness in the living room in winter, and in summer the large terrace with high-quality garden furniture invites you to enjoy unforgettable barbecue evenings in the fresh Baltic Sea air with your loved ones. There is a high-quality barbecue fireplace on the terrace, which you can use for this purpose. You can also enjoy your first coffee in the morning here.
For coffee lovers, there is a filter coffee machine and a Senseo® coffee machine in the fully equipped kitchen. The modern, fully equipped kitchen with induction hob invites you to enjoy cooking evenings with the whole family. A storage room under the stairs serves as storage space, e.g. for your suitcases.
The Baltic Sea is just a few metres away. In winter and spring, when the trees behind the dyke are bare of leaves, you can even catch a glimpse of the waves from the bedroom.
The Süssau beach is a long natural beach, most of which is also open to dogs. It is located in the 'fair-weather corner' of Ostholstein near the island of Fehmarn. There is plenty of space for children to let off steam and a large playground is also available to guests directly behind the dyke.
For anglers, the Süssau beach offers a unique stretch of sea trout.
And should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Baltic Sea spa Großenbrode, the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away.
Well-developed cycle paths open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein to you. You can hire bikes directly on site.

Summary of reviewsBeautiful place with no day guests flooding the beach, around 80% of guests with dogs. Sometimes we had the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach to ourselves. Our neighbors from Timmendorf came for the 2nd time, which says a lot. So for dog owners, it doesn't get any better.

Alles sehr schoen, keine Tagesgaeste, die den Strand fluten, wohl ca. 80% der Gäste mit Hund. Manchmal hatten wir den km langen Ostseestrand fuer uns.
Unsere Nachbarn kamen aus Timmendorf, und das zum 2.Mal, sagt viel aus.. .,, oder. Also Urlauber mit Hund: besser geht's nicht
