About this house rental

In the exceptional setting of the Luberon Natural Park, you will be able to enjoy a space with swimming pool and garden that is FULLY PRIVATE, 3 minutes' walk from the center of the village of LOURMARIN, with its entertainment and shops, yet very quiet and discreet. This 35m2 bastidon, completely renovated, with neat and modern decoration, has a main room: with a living area and a fully equipped open kitchen, a separate bedroom with a large double bed 160 wide and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The exterior benefits from a pretty landscaped garden, a large shaded terrace and a garden furniture area, a PRIVATE swimming pool (7.5mL x 3m W x 1.50m D) and a pétanque court .
There are many centers of interest around: First, the village itself, classified among the most beautiful in France with its Castle, its Temple and its Church in the middle of the hills with the scent of thyme and lavender, its light incomparable, its alleys where it is good to stroll, its enticing shops, its café terraces, its small restaurants and its Friday market, essential meeting of the region: it is the perfect image of Provence so dear to artists of 'yesterday and today such as Henri Bosco and Albert Camus who lived there and now rest there.
In addition, many sites and other villages are to be seen in the surroundings: among others, Gordes and the Abbey of Senanque, Roussillon and Colorado Provençal, L'Isle sur la Sorgue and its flea markets, etc ...
Without counting the festive and cultural events whose notoriety goes beyond our borders: the Festival of Avignon, the piano festival of Roque d'Anthéron ....
For sports activities, the Luberon is a paradise for lovers of all levels and all ages. There are many mountain biking and hiking circuits (the Cedres forest) or even fishing in the Durance, canoeing, golf at Pont Royal, climbing (Buoux), tennis in the village .... and, of course, pétanque competitions !!

We enjoyed very much our stay in the Bastidon. The accommodation was excellent, the garden very peaceful, and the swimming pool a great place to relax and spend our time. The Bastidon is just 5 minutes away from the center of Lourmarin (very nice village with a lot of restaurants and very nice surroundings) and in a strategic position to visit other villages in the Luberon area, as well as Aix-en-Provence and the seaside towns of Cassis and Marseille. Highly recommended! One week is not enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful and well equipped house with lots of outdoor areas and a lovely pool. Very conveniently located to the charming village of Lourmarin - a delightful 10 minute stroll away. The house, pool, and terraces offer complete privacy.

Mas 2 Pins is a gorgeous house, nestled in nature (we had a red squirrel visit the garden most days) yet only a short (15 min) walk from the lovely village of Eygalieres. The house has everything you need for your stay, and the garden has several areas to rest and relax both in the sun and the shade - and of course there is the pool too, which was very welcoming in the 30 degree heat! Eygalieres itself is a very pretty village, with plenty of life about it without being busy - great restaurants, a cafe and boulangerie (of course) and even a small supermarket. Frederique is a wonderfully welcoming host and a great communicator - even letting me practise my very poor French with great patience. The property was everything promised when we booked it. Very quiet and peaceful; friendly neighbors, and easy walk to the town square for the Friday market or lunch at Cafe Gaby. Lourmarin is a family-friendly village with al the amenities and located close to other picturesque spots as well. Mdme Martine was a wonderful host! We hope to return again some day for another stay!

We just returned from a 2 week stay in Lourmarin. Despite temperatures ranging from 96 to 105 degrees we had a wonderful time. The home has everything you could desire. Extremely private, the grounds are impeccably landscaped with many separate areas to enjoy morning coffee and dinners al fresco. We spent many hours relaxing in the shade by the pool. Even when the temperatures soared there was often a refreshing breeze. The interior – comfortable for two – is outfitted with everything you need. The host Martine is very attentive and checks in regularly via Whats App to make certain you are content. A GEM!

Excellent property in great location, on quiet cul-de-sac and minutes from town. Very comfortable and well equipped house, with great garden and pool which we spent a lot of time in. Temperatures were higher than usual so the air con was a bonus. Very friendly and responsive host.

A Week in Lourmarin

The property was lovely, just as described - we enjoyed every minute of our week. And Lourmarin itself is a great & friendly place. One quibble: the directions we received to the property from Vrbo were not exactly clear and we had to phone the property manager, Marie Christine, when we got close. She and her husband were extremely helpful and guided us in. Otherwise we had a perfect week in an idyllic part of the world. Recommended.

The property is exactly as listed. We stayed for 2 weeks and the property had everything we needed, it is really well equipped and more spacious than it appears online. We were blessed with lovely weather so spent a lot of time sitting outside in the many different seating areas in the garden and the pool was lovely for cooling off. The garden is lovely and very private. Fantastic location, very short walk into Lourmarin, which had everything we needed. We highly recommend!

The property is perfectly located in Lourmarin. Easy access to the center of the village with plenty of cafe and restaurants full of locals and tourists alike and a great market. “Le cabanon” is very functionnal and perfect fora couple. Plenty of place outside, including a “terrain de petanque” to enjoy local rose while playing after an afternoon soaking the sun around the pool. We enjoyed watching the pool but its not heated and too cold for September. We were nicely welcomes by Celine who was easily reachable when needed (only once) as all went well. We would greatly recommend the location and gladly return.

A delightful villa in a great location that is perfect for a couple!

We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted just ten minutes after calling to say we had arrived. We were shown around the villa and garden by a very friendly woman and made to feel very welcome. The villa is small but well equipped. There are two seating areas outside that are ideal for enjoying the nice weather that is typical of this region of France. The pool is not large but perfectly adequate for swimming in and the surrounding garden is beautifully well kept and not overlooked. There is even an area in which you can play boules. The gas barbecue is very efficient and was well used during our stay. The village is just ten minutes walk away with a very good bakery and excellent restaurants. There is also a small shop where you can get groceries if you don't want to drive to a larger supermarket. There are also a wide selection of other shops. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. We would definitely recommend the villa to couples who like their privacy but want to be in easy reach of a beautiful village.

Les extérieurs de ce bastidon sont le point fort de cette location. Les nombreuses terrasses permettent de toujours avoir un endroit à l'ombre pour se poser. Le bastidon est bien équipé et décoré le seul point à revoir serait la régulation de la chaleur car nous n'avons pas eu accès à la clim qui semble pourtant exister. À notre arrivée, il y avait 2 ventilateurs d'installés. Le bruit la nuit est compliqué. L'accueil n'a pas été fait par la propriétaire mais par Marie-Christine qui a été très agréable et de bons conseils. Le bastidon est bien situé,en dehors du bruit du centre et en même temps à deux pas. Nous regrettons de n'avoir pu profiter de la piscine dès notre arrivée jour d'anniversaire de mon conjoint (mais comme nous l'a dit la propriétaire ce n'est pas de sa faute !) Nous regrettons surtout le manque de réactivité à notre égard face à ce désagrément durant 2 jours et demi. Si je n'avais pas appelé le lundi pour faire part de notre déception nous n'aurions pas eu d'échange. Échanger avec le pisciniste est une chose mais prendre des nouvelles de ses locataires en est une autre. Depuis les échanges ont été plus agréables. La propriétaire nous a invité dans un restaurant (celui de sa fille) et nous a laissé prolonger notre samedi au lieu d'un départ à 10h00. Cela n'enlève pas la déception des premiers jours mais montre au moins la prise en compte par la propriétaire du désagrément connu en début de séjour. Pour ce qui est de Lourmarin, c'est un joli village que nous avons pris plaisir à redécouvrir.

Communication parfaite avec Martine la propriétaire et Chantal chargée de l'accueil. La petite maison est rigoureusement conforme à l'annonce et aux photos : toute proche à pied du centre de Lourmarin, très bien équipée, avec un grand jardin et une très agréable piscine. Location vraiment idéale pour un couple. On aimerait garder cette adresse secrète pour pouvoir y revenir à coup sûr !

Accueil chaleureux de la part de Céline avec le petit+ une bouteille de rosé, merci à la propriétaire! Nous avons passé deux superbes semaines. Le Bastidon, la piscine, le jardin et le calme, idéal pour décompresser. Logement conforme à la description, bien équipé et situé à proximité à pied du village de Lourmarin. Nous reviendrons certainement et recommandons cette location.

Emplacement idéal, tranquillité absolue mais tout près du village (5 minutes de marche). Très propre, très bien entretenu, accueil chaleureux. La maison est petite mais très confortable pour une famille de 4 personnes. L'espace extérieur est magnifique.Bref, nousj avons passé un séjour merveilleux et nous souhaitons y retourner :).
