The views from the bedroom and the living room were great. Got to see the whales out the front, the cruise ships coming in and the fireworks on Saturday nights at eight. The bed was not great, but once I talk to Marc about the problem. He had a new mattress up and a foam to cover. It had much better sleep after that.. the one couch was new, but the other one was very hard to sit on and both are lower so harder to get up for seniors with that problems. The noise from the bar across the river starts up Friday night, Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock and goes until 9 o’clock each day the music is very loud but it only lasts until 9 o’clock Friday to Sunday day, we just closed the balcony doors, otherwise our experience was very good.

Amazing condo and complex! Two balconies both with beautiful views. Lots of bedding and towels, beach towels, fully equipped kitchen. Great air-conditioning! Nice appliances. I have never stayed at a place in Mexico where there are so many swimming pools, infinity pools! and the hot tubs are actually hot and there is even a warm pool. We were shocked at the huge beach also. Owners respond fast, Marc is really awesome! Just an amazing condo and I would stay here again for sure. Walking distance to so many stores and restaurants and a cheap taxi ride to the Melacon.

Great views (as shown), awesome beach, amazing pools to choose from (4!) in which you can sit in poolside lounges most days, great hot tubs, LOTS to love about this place! HOWEVER, things we wish we had known: -There is a nightclub situated below the balcony that blasts thumping club music from Thursday night through Saturday night, even ALL DAY SATURDAY. We were there for two Saturdays. This was highly unpleasant. -There is a sewer smell that comes up through the drain in the bathroom and shower. There was a rubber cover you could put over it, but the smell permeated the unit during most of our 11 day stay. -The water in the building was shut off from 11 pm to 1 pm the next day on one day we were there. We did not know about it ahead of time (it was posted in one elevator but not the elevator we used). Another tenant said it had happened the week before as well and was very unhappy, as were we. -The kitchen is sparsely equipped so if you are an avid cook or plan to eat in much, you will need to improvise. Cutlery, pots/pans are all poor quality and worse than my camping gear. -There were a few maintenance issues that needed addressing upon our arrival: broken hairdryer, dishwasher nonfunctional, light in livingroom broken so very dark at night when trying to eat at the table or read. -You will need to bring or buy your own: coffee, body soap, shampoo/conditioner, dishwasher detergent, which may be normal for Mexican short-term rentals? Overall, we loved this location and view. We paid close to the same amount as we paid at the Marriott last year, so we were expecting a bit higher quality experience, which could be improved easily by keeping better tabs on maintenance issues so guests don’t have to “discover” them during their stay. Spending that little bit more on quality items for the kitchen and bathroom also make a world of difference for guests who are here on possibly their only holiday of the year.
