Our whole experience staying here was so enjoyable.
We love the house. Its very obvious the owners take great pride in maintaining it and they are very nice to speak with.
The view was so relaxing. Many times you could see the manatees swim by and it was just a short kayak paddle to see where they hang out. Sometimes in the evening you could see the dolphins come in to feed.
The other direction was just a short paddle out to the open bay.
This is a great neighborhood to go for walks or ride your bike which we did a lot of. It’s not that far to ride your bike to the beach or your minutes from it in the car.
This is a place you truly have to experience for yourself you will not be disappointed.
My tan may fade but my memories will last forever.

This property sits on a canal with views of the water from every room. Watching sunrises and sunsets is something else here. The house itself is in a mint condition. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Pool was a big plus. Manasota beach and Venice is only about 10 minutes away by car so this was a perfect location for us.

We have rented this property for the last two winters. We liked the location so well that we bought a home in the same area, otherwise we would have rented this home again. The home is comfortable, clean and well maintained. The view is unbelievable at sunset. Most days we would see manatees and often dolphins. At sunset the birds fly in formations over the house and down the canal to the rookery. It's a great show.

We stayed for two weeks at the end of August and this had to be our best vacation yet.
The pool was great; clean and warm. My young children learned how to swim using the pool during this stay. Now, how cool is that?
I loved fishing from the dock while watching manatees and dolphins come in and out of the canal. The sunsets and sunrises over the water are just stunning. They make great screensavers for my phone.
The beaches are all close by. Manasota Key beach is only 5 minutes away and is the best place to look for the shark teeth. The famous Siesta Key beach in Sarasota is only 30 minutes away and there are 6 or so other great beaches in between. One of our favorites is the Gasparilla Island with it's beautiful views and secluded beaches. We found a ton of sand dollars there this year.
We drove out to Orlando and to Ichetucknee Springs State Park where we tubed down a crystal clear river while watching turtles, fish jumping and other Florida wildlife.
What can I say? This property in Englewood is our favorite spot to spend a summer vacation. It is convenient, meticulously maintained and super clean. It is nice enough to just stay there and not go anywhere. Our family can't wait to go there again.
