About this house rental
“Summerwind” is being offered to renters!! Our quiet and serene Eco-friendly home near the sea is located close to golfing, the ocean and Montauk village. Situated three blocks from Montauk Downs Golf Course and Pool we are 3/4 of a mile away from the center of town and all the major beaches, restaurants and night life. Our home is close to the Harbor area where you will find world class fishing charters and marinas, horseback riding, restaurants and shops. Summerwind is comfortable, modern and immaculate but with a cozy feel!! Enjoy the clean and classic decor, vaulted ceilings, skylight and wood burning fireplace in the living room. The house is fully equipped and includes WiFi, indoor/outdoor speakers, (you can just plug in your iPhone!), flat panel smart TV’s with cable and full access to all premium channels, central air conditioning, central vacuum, and heavy duty washer/dryer. And for those gourmet cooks there is a full service gas oven, unusual for Montauk! The den, with a queen front gate sleeper, is directly off the kitchen and can double as an additional bedroom to accommodate guests. Enjoy the large private outdoor side deck with its ocean breezes. It is equipped with a Weber gas grill and a large beautiful teak table and chairs for comfortable dining al fresco! The property is surrounded by a preserve for maximum privacy. There is also an outdoor shower with a separate changing area. Our home is in the prestigious Country Club section of Montauk, and is walking distance to Montauk Downs Golf Course and Pool. If you are vacationing as a family, the house is equipped with a kiddie pool, bikes, beach toys and game as well as 6 beach sand chairs.

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at this house for the month of June this summer, hosting our parents and friends for a few days. The location was only a few mins from the main town and beaches, quiet with friendly neighbors - ideal for those looking to get away but still have easy access to all the things Montauk has to offer. The house was absolutely amazing - very clean, felt newly renovated and decorated with plenty of room for guests and an incredible deck where we spent days lounging and dinners grilling. The yard was ideal for sunbathing and relaxing by the firepit in the evenings. Was a plus the house came with bikes and beach chairs, as well as laundry in basement! Victoria was an ideal host - super communicative and very helpful when needed. We definitely hope to return!

The house was fantastic. The description on the website was spot on. My sister and I decided that we would like to get away together with our families and this house was perfect. It is neat and clean, well-appointed and felt homey. It is close to all the happenings in Montauk. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it without reservation.

The description of the house is accurate and actually better than anticipated. All rooms clean and orderly and the home is very well decorated. All appliances and mechanical aspects of the house were in good working condition. The owner was very courteous and easy to deal with. We kept a boat at a nearby marina and the house was very convenient for us. It is close to downtown and easy drive to IGA store and other nice restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property and we look forward to staying here again in the very near future.

Summerwind is a beautiful house, and even better than the pictures suggest. Everything has been recently redone and the location is great. We would certainly recommend it!
