The unit was as described, very clean &comfortable. There was a nice large balcony where we enjoyed breakfast with a great view of the ocean. The apartment was fully equipped, great location & great beach. We also rented a car which was very nice. David, the owner was great to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely be back again !

What a great room, resort, and location!! Such a beautiful view of the ocean from the 14th floor balcony, accessed from the bedroom and/or living room. Loved the extra amenities such as the beach chairs, umbrella, and beverage coolers. The resort had a great pool, two hot tubs, tiki bar, easy beach access, and ample lounge chairs. Highly recommend!

I had originally booked the property listed on the VRBO website. Right before I checked in, I was told the unit had a flooding problem due to a leaking dishwasher. My room was switched to a different unit in the same building. It was not as nice as the unit pictured. There were several spots of black mold around the room vents and in the shower. The walls and furniture were beat up and dirty. The washing machine wasn't working properly. The bed was very comfortable, but it didn't have a mattress pad on it. For the most part, the unit was very quiet. Both TVs had Netflix, which was very nice. Great location right on the beach and close to everything.

David the host was great. Excellent communication and very helpful. The condo was very clean and organized. Gorgeous view of the ocean with nice balcony for sitting. Bed comfortable and large roomy bathroom. Condo a bit outdated and could use some minor updating but for the price its nice. Right on the beach! There was some construction going on so pool wasn't open until the weekend but was nice once open. The area is super convenient to everything you need. Good restaurants and markets. Definitely worth visiting the area.

This apartment was wonderful! Spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed- sand toys, tons of towels, etc. The view from the balcony was great, and the sleeping arrangements were great for me and my 3 kids. There was space for the air mattress and fold out bed in the living room AND the regular couches and dining room table. The building is great. The pool has zero-depth entry which is perfect little kids. The bar by the pool makes lunch and drinks throughout the day easy. The entrance to the beach is right off the pool, and for three days, we just went between the beach, pool, and sleeping in the room. Great communication with the owner. I highly recommend this unit! Wonderful vacation! We'll be back!

We booked this property because it was right on the beach and, despite the poor quality pictures, the reviews rated it very highly. However, once we checked in, we realized that both the building and the unit were in terrible condition that we did not feel safe staying there. The lobby and elevators of the building looked like they hadn’t been updated or maintained in 30 years. The door to the unit was so beat up it looked like someone had tried to break in. The air vent in the ceiling right when you walk in was covered in dust. The dining table was missing a support piece causing it to wobble. My son almost tipped it over on top of himself. The cabinetry in the kitchen was very dated and damaged. We were so disappointed that we immediately rebooked to stay at another hotel down the street.

The place was exactly as described. We had the time of lives. It was our first time going to the beach and this place was paradise for us. We made quick trips to Miami Beach (which was too crowded and too much for us), went to Lauderdale by the sea (also too crowded and too many tourists). This place had it all beachfront access, and a swimming pool with direct access to the beach (best of both worlds). David was attentive and made sure we were having a great time and would respond quickly. We are definitely coming back! If you are looking for a relaxing place to escape the crowds and all the noise, this is the place to be. Family friendly. Very close to shop, food, and a Walgreens for all the things you may have forgotten. We recommend this place.

LET ME JUST STATE HOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCOMFORTABLE DAVID MADE ME FEEL.... I wish I could attach our text messages. He didn't state who he was or anything just what time are we arriving to the condo. A little weird but was okay. Then the next morning called me at 9AM wanting to know if we were in the condo & thought maybe I need to talk to him i said no i was sleeping actually. He proceeded to send me picture of his child with "my son. mini me." with the text. I was so uncomfortable that whole experience that it made me uncomfortable staying there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AT ALL! Bathroom: -jet tub didn't work -no hot water at all in sinks -only 2 washcloth -MANY half used bottles from previous users Bedroom: -no smart tv in the bedroom -loose wires coming out of DVD player Kitchen: -just a nightmare.... -looked like a junkyard scrap kitchen... -nothing was really organized, constantly felt like we were opening everything to figure out were things go -trashcan was broken -no trash sacks so didn't really know what to do with all our stuff since hotel doesn't stop by Living Room/Balcony: -the couch was DEVINE and soooo comfy. Spent a lot of time there. -had smart TV but wasn't logged into anything sooo not too handy -the balcony doors were the biggest pain to get open, couldn't even use the ones in the bedroom -laundry was in the washer and dryers when we arrived THAT WASN'T OURS

Because we didn't have to sign in upon our arrival, we didn't receive pool bracelets or gym key. The condo was dated and we expected some sort of upgrades for the price we paid.

Right on the beach and the view from the balcony was a sight for sore eyes. the condo itself was very spacious and the air condition worked great. This property was in the perfect location for my trip. There were a couple of grocery stores within walking distance as well as many restaurants. There was really no need for a car. The unit was very clean and the pictures were spot on. One of the highlights of my stay was sitting on the balcony on the night of the full moon, watching it rise from the Atlantic and looking at its light glimmering on the ocean. The daytime view was nice as well. The AC worked well as did all of the other appliances. I would recommend this property.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was spacious and we loved the full mirror wall that reflected the ocean. The unit was exactly was shown in the pictures and description. We loved the long balcony, we really enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings and evenings. Unit had a washer/dryer along with plenty of extra towels, beach towels and blankets. We specifically choose this unit because of the kitchen and dining room table as we had a private chef come one of the evenings. The unit did not have any wash clothes. Owner stated that was due to covid. Also the closet was locked so no where to hang our clothes or use of iron/iron board. I assumed this was on purpose, however after mentioning it to the owner upon leaving he advised that was on accident. And I should have called him for the code. Also no instructions for leaving so we weren't sure if we should wash towels or where to take trash? The condo is privately owned, however it is in the Doubletree building. One of the elevators was down so often some wait time for the elevator. The unit has wifi, however wifi not available within rest of building unless guest of hotel. Since it is the DoubleTree, the front desk was gracious with giving us their famous cookies upon request. I highly recommend the DoubleTree cookies!! Onsite restaurant was good, however loved that so many local places were within walking distance. We recommend Juice and Java, it is across from condos. Also, we took a uber to Serafina Italian Restaurant and it was absolutely amazing!! I am still thinking about their chicken parmesan. Overall it was a great visit, loved the ocean front view and location. Owner is very responsive. We will book again.

Property is right on the beach with plenty of grocery and dining options within walking distance. The view from the large patio is fantastic and there is direct beach access right out the back door of the property. The bathroom and bedroom both have plenty of space and include all the necessities you’ll need. Soap, shampoo, bath and beach towels, extra pillows, etc. We did have a couple issues on the first day, but David kept in contact and worked with us to get them resolved. A few things that might be worth noting if you are looking to stay here - Valet parking was listed as free when we booked, but when we arrived we learned that the policy has changed and now you have to pay per day. David was able to arrange for free parking for us, but I could see this being an issue going forward if it’s not communicated properly. Might want to double check this if you plan on renting a car. The listing also said there were beach chairs to use on the beach, but when we arrived they were nowhere to be found. We were able to get chairs from the resort staff to use for 1 day but the resort staff appeared to be a little frustrated when we asked and explained to us that this has been an ongoing issue with the host. David ended up bringing us chairs the next day, but It was disappointing that we were caught in the middle of the whole situation. We also realized the first night that the oven did not work. This was a huge let down because we purposely picked a place with a full kitchen had just bought groceries for dinner. Again, David was polite and apologetic when we called about the broken oven, and he even delivered a pizza to the condo to make up for our lack of dinner. But it was obvious that he already knew that the oven was not working but had chosen not to communicate that to us before we arrived. Overall, we had a great time in Sunny Isles and tried our best to not let the little hiccups take away from the beautiful weather and beach.

The owner is extremely responsive and easy to work with. The location is great. We enjoyed having the extra space and a beautiful view of the ocean. The expresso machine with capsules provided and welcoming bottle of red wine was a plus! They also have a wall of mirrors to see the ocean from within the unit. The inside of some of the dressers where warped, walls need touching up, the water pressure in the shower is very low, the kitchen counters need to be replaced and we felt the cleaning crew could have done better. We would stay again as it was a good value for the location/view and size of the unit.
