About this bed and breakfast
Spend the night in a quiet residential complex in the green district of Kagran, near the Danube, the Vienna International Center and the veterinary university, and quickly during the day directly into the city center by subway.
This is a spacious, bright guest room and not your own vacation rental! It is located on the ground floor of our row house, inhabited by my husband and me.
On the ground floor there is also the small guest bathroom with shower and the common kitchen with its own guest fridge and 2 terraces - a small one in the kitchen and a large one with barbecue facilities in the guest room.
You live with us at the recreation area Alte Donau and near the Donauinsel (Danube Island Festival). Both are popular excursion destinations that are part of what Vienna has to offer. Just like the Vienna International Center and the veterinary medical university. Anyone looking for accommodation in one of the two because of attending a seminar is close to the action with us.
The U 1 takes you in about 10 minutes. Travel time quickly and directly to Stefansplatz or Karlsplatz in the city.
The guest room itself is large and spacious - with direct access to a large terrace, which is furnished (except in winter) and covered with a pavilion (plastic). This invites you to eat outdoors and to grill - there is a grill.
In addition to water and electricity, the price of the room includes bedding (beds are made before arrival) and towels.
The cleaning fee refers to final cleaning or weekly cleaning.
Washer and dryer can be used at an additional cost of € 2.
When using the kitchen, the kitchen must be left clean, with a dishwasher available so that no dishes are washed off.

Ein gemütliches, praktisches, ruhiges Zimmer und auch Bad und Küche boten alles, was man braucht. Man konnte gut auf der Terrasse am Garten sitzen und ein Supermarkt ist gleich in der Nähe. Wenige Minuten zum Bus zur U-Bahn und mit dieser dann ins Zentrum hat alles super geklappt.
Toll fanden wir die beiden Miezen,die so lieb waren!!!

Dieses 1-Zimmer Appartement haben wir sauber und genauso vorgefunden, wie die Bilder vom Vermieter eingestellt sind und das Zimmer beschrieben ist. Das Badezimmer ist klein und außerhalb des Raumes auf dem Flur und gehört ausschließlich den Gästen dieses Appartements.
Wer möchte, ist in der Gemeinschaftsküche gegenüber des Zimmers gerne willkommen. Die Vermieter sind aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Bei dem morgendlichen Frühstück z.B. erhält man so auch den einen oder anderen Tipp für seine Ausflüge nach Wien. Auf Wunsch und je nach Möglichkeit holen die Vermieter gegen ein kleines Entgelt ihre Gäste auch vom Flughafen ab.
Die Lage des Hauses haben wir als sehr ruhig, inmitten einer reinen und angenehmen Wohnsiedlung vorgefunden.
Ein Supermarkt (Billa) befindet sich unweit der Wohnung.
Die nächste Haltestelle der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (Freihofsiedlung) ist etwa 3 - 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Dort gelangt man mit dem Bus 94a (keine langen Wartezeiten, bis der nächste Bus kommt) zur Endstelle Kagran, von wo man mit der U1 schnell ins Zentrum Wiens oder gut zu anderen Umsteigemöglichkeiten gelangen kann.
Ein Ticket der Kernzone Wien ist ausreichend und kann über das Internet der Wiener Linien schon von Zuhause aus erworben werden. (Achtung: in Bussen gibt es keinen Fahrscheinverkauf mehr)
Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.
