Our detached vacation bungalow at the Zijpersluis Vacation Park in Burgerbrug, North Holland, offers 65 square meters of living space and everything you need for a relaxing and restful vacation. It features a very inviting living area with modern solid-wood furniture, two leather sofas that are comfortable to sit on, a dining area that seats 6 people, a comfortably equipped kitchenette, 3 bedrooms, and a bathroom, and is suitable for 2–5 people.

Our rental rates include 21% Dutch VAT and the tourist tax. Additional costs such as electricity, gas, and water are also included as a flat rate in the rental price, provided they are within normal usage limits. In the event of exceptionally high consumption, we reserve the right to issue a supplementary bill and deduct the amount from the security deposit.

Charging electric cars at the house is not permitted. A charging station is available on the premises. Please use it as needed to charge your car.

Upon arrival, a mandatory registration fee of €18.00 must be paid at the front desk.

The washing machine can be used for a fee of €3.50 per load, and the dryer for a fee of €2.50 per load.

Burgerbrug is located on the Dutch coast, between Alkmaar and Den Helder, and serves as a central starting point for exploring the province of North Holland, with its countless museums, excellent restaurants, and interesting towns such as Alkmaar, Hoorn, Callantsoog, Schoorl, Bergen, Bergen aan Zee, Egmond aan Zee, and the island of Texel.

DIRECTIONS: From the end of the highway in Alkmaar (A9), take State Road N 9 along the North Holland Canal to Burgervlotbrug. Here, turn right off the main road and drive over the canal bridge (North Holland Canal). Cross Ruigeweg, passing Eetcafé De Brugwachter on your left. After about 200 m, you’ll find the entrance to Zijpersluis Park on your left.
To reach the reception desk—where you’ll pay the registration fee and receive your free internet access—from Burgervlotbrug, follow these directions: Turn right off the main road and cross the canal bridge (North Holland Canal). After about 500 m, turn left onto Ruigeweg. After about 100 m, you’ll find the reception desk for Zijpersluis Bungalow Park (Ruigeweg 6a) on your right.


Region and surroundings:
Children can play all day long at the newly redesigned playground. You’ll find a restaurant in front of the park on Burgerweg. An indoor swimming pool with a sauna and solarium is located about 15 km away in the nearest major town, Schagen, which also offers a wide range of shopping options. Petten, about 3 km away, and Tuitjenhorn, about 4 km away, offer small-town shopping.

Petten Beach—one of the most beautiful beaches in North Holland—is 3 km away and easily accessible by bike via well-maintained bike paths. If you drive, you’ll find free parking at Petten Beach.

The coastal region of the province of North Holland, situated on the North Sea, is characterized by wide, well-maintained, fine-grained sandy beaches. The distinctive dune landscapes offer opportunities for long, varied walks and bike rides.

Coastal towns such as Bergen, Egmond, Schoorl, etc., as well as Schagen, Alkmaar (weekly cheese market), Amsterdam, Hoorn (an old town on the IJsselmeer), and the island of Texel provide plenty of variety beyond the beach.
Burgerbrug is centrally located and serves as a great starting point for excursions.
Nature lovers can find peace and quiet in many places, including the nature reserves “Het Zwanenwater,” “de Putten,” and “Entenbos.”
