Lovely home in Beauraing

The cottage is located in an idyllic valley, 25 km south of Dinant and right on the French border. It stands on a wooded plot of 25,000 m2. In the fenced garden flows the shallow stream La Houle. You will also find some playground equipment and a few benches. The children can play to their hearts' content in the woods or on the large lawns. On the terrace at the front of the house you can enjoy the midday sun in the cozy sitting area. The other terrace with gas grill is located in front of the kitchen on a lower level. In the summer months you can enjoy your meals together outdoors at the large garden tables. If the weather doesn't want to cooperate, just make yourselves comfortable together in the kitchen. Evenings are always too short by the fireplace in the cozy living room. The large table in the elegant dining room next to it, is also wonderful for playing board games. The bedrooms on the first and second floor are all equipped with their own bathroom. The television can be used for DVDs only. The cottage is an ideal vacation accommodation, where you will spend a relaxing and restful stay. This house is mainly intended for families. However, other groups can be accepted with the consent of the owner and with a possible increase of the deposit. Groups of people under 30 years of age are generally not allowed.

This part of the Ardennes is almost untouched and you can walk and cycle for hours without meeting anyone. The trails through the valley and the forests start right outside your door. For example, the path next to the house leads to the Col d'Olenne, which is very famous among trained mountain bikers. The nice French town of Givet is only 5 km away. The historic buildings, including an impressive fortress on the Meuse River are definitely worth a visit. This town has the largest swimming pool in the French Ardennes. You will also find plenty of restaurants, stores and supermarkets.
