This kid friendly cottage is perfect for a family. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and newly remodeled full baths and is located on Bar Lake. Bar Lake is a shallow fishing lake and is connected to Lake Michigan by an underground stream that goes beneath Lake Shore Drive. Bar Lake is not good for swimming, but you can swim across the street at the small Lake Michigan public beach. This cottage is also listed on CL so you don't have to pay the extra fees of this site. Look under northern MI.

We stayed over the 4th of July. Cottage is on Bar Lake which was a super quiet and secluded location. Cabin was clean and had all the essentials.
Overall, the place could use a little fixing up in areas but the location and price make it a great deal!
Lisa was wonderful to work with during booking and throughout our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Lisa was great to work with. The location was great. The backyard looks on to Bar Lake. Lake Michigan access was just down the drive and across the street.
The cottage had what we needed for our getaway. It didnt have air conditioning, but the cottage was offered at a good price.
