The typical historic Canarian farmhouse 'Finca' built of natural stone, with 110 sqm living space, 360m above sea level. is located on the edge of a unique nature reserve 'Galguen' not far from the village of Santo Domingo.
Around the house there are sunny terraces for resting, sunbathing and eating. The property is beautifully ingrown with Canarian palm trees and flowers. All floors and ceilings of the house are made of tea (precious wood of the Canarian pine). The large bedroom has a double bed with sea view and. Balcony, the second bedroom has a view of the Barranco and the mountains. The living room has a fireplace, satellite / TV and a sofa bed. The bathroom has floor heating, a bathtub and a glass roof. The large kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, oven, refrigerator and a cozy seating area invites you to eat and linger.

A beautiful traditional finca in a lovely tranquil rural location. Well equipped kitchen with filtered water, excellent broadband, and plenty of hot water. An upper terrace for sun during the day and a lower terrace for dining and sunsets both surrounded by lovely planting. The hosts were very friendly and interesting without being intrusive despite living in an attached property. Two lovely friendly dogs and numerous fancy chickens roam around adding to the rural charm. North La Palma is wonderfully green and full of excellent walking. We would definitely stay here again. Just to note there isn’t a washing machine but the hosts will do washing for you for a small charge.

Ein älteres Bauernhaus, dessen ursprünglichen Charackter man bewahrt hat, mit knarrenden Türen und einem gemütlichen Ofen, in schöner, ruhiger Umgebung. Die Vermieter sind freundlich und helfen weiter, wenn man ein Anliegen hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr urige Wohnung mitten in der Natur, zwei Terassen eine mit Meerblick und zum ausklingen des Tages den Sonnenuntergang zu bewundern.

One cannot write only about the finca and the farmhouse without mentioning, Garafia, and La Palma. Its a rugged, peaceful, natural paradise, but only for those travelers who love quiet and extreme natural beauty. The house is situated literally on one of the hiking trails that runs inside the barranco, so that hiking and walking are outside your door.The house itself is spacious, three bedrooms and the bathroom above and the kitchen below.The terraces / patios are lovely with jasmine everywhere and splendid views of the countryside and ocean. Its very private.The hosts, Christian and Carola Blaser are very special people : gracious, kind & considerate.They live next door, which is helpful if something needs repair or if you need advice. But mostly they will supply, upon request, the finest quality fruits, vegetables, eggs, etc., from their gardens and kitchens. And even cook you a fine meal !All of La Palma is varied in its natural characteristics and all of it is beautiful. But no part is any more beautiful or peaceful than the location of this property.
