Enjoy your holidays on Borkum, one of the most beautiful islands of the Wadden Sea National Park. Let the wind blow in your face, give yourself ample beach walks, listening to the waves crashing and simply feel really well cared for in your halfway house in the middle of the center of Borkum, the mermaid. 2
The 4-star house Mermaid 2 is quiet yet centrally located in the center of Borkum, which is virtually free of charge during the seasons. The short distances make it easy to enjoy your holiday to the full. Only 5 minutes walk and you reach the main beach, 2 minutes walk to the train station, still less to your favorite bakery and supermarket.
Despite its central location, the Mermaid 2 is an oasis of calm. Have breakfast summer day in the comfort of the spacious terrace or spend here after an active day in a cozy evening.
High standard for a carefree holiday delights: The apartment is a pure Non smoking apartment and was decorated with lots of love to a superior standard. We promise: you will not miss anything that belongs to a comfortable stay.
The house mermaid was completed in 2007, this rear-detached house situated 2 (side entrance) was hired in late 2008 for the first time. Even in winter the stay in this superbly insulated house - all rooms are equipped with underfloor heating - a pleasure.
The Mermaid 2 is technically up to date and offers its guests both a flat-screen TV with cable TV and a WiFi connection without additional costs.
Extensive facilities on the ground floor: The ground floor features a spacious living / dining area for four people with dining table, leather chairs, two comfortable, modern leather couches, an additional sofa bed, modern floor lamp, shelves with ample storage shelves, 2 living room cabinets for glasses and base cabinets with large drawers, flat screen TV and stereo. For the younger guests there is a kids chair.
The well-equipped large kitchen has a ceramic hob with touch box, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, modern crockery, cutlery, cutting knife, cutting mats, corkscrew, bottle openers, etc., pots, pans, wok, casseroles and plenty of electrical outlets. Washer and dryer are so self-evident as the baby bed.
In the guest bathroom is also a urinal for men available.
2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs: Upstairs are two bedrooms each with a double bed, wardrobe, table, chair, two bedside tables and each have a TV. Bedding and 1.20 wide sofa bed are included in the price.
The spacious bathroom has a shower, toilet, large sink, plenty of towels and bath towels. Please bring your own beach towels.

Die Doppelhaushälfte lag nicht zur ruhigen Straße hin, sondern hinten raus. Die Schlüsselübergabe war total unkompliziert, die Bilder geben genau das wieder was wir vorgefunden haben! Aber die LAGE ist fast noch besser als das Haus...50 m zum Einkaufen, egal ob Lebensmittel oder Kleidung, vielleicht 100 m zum Bäcker und zum Rossmann und so könnte ich weiter machen...
Die Gästetoilette war sehr angenehm (eine zu haben bei 4 Personen), der große Wohnbereich ließ keine Wünsche offen, alles war vorhanden! Treppe hoch und schon war man bei den Schlafzimmern die beide gleich eingerichtet waren, das Bad mit Dusche dazu und es war ein richtig toller Urlaub! Vielen lieben Dank...
PS: Auch die Restaurants waren super zu Fuß zu erreichen, natürlich auch der Strand...

Die Lage des Objekts war super, man konnte alles problemlos zu Fuß erreichen. Jedoch ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Die Küche war nicht wirklich gut geputzt, überall waren Fingerabdrücke an den Fronten zu sehen. Auch die Couch im Wohnzimmer war schon kaputt. Ebenso sollte das Silikon in der Dusche erneuert werden, da hier das Wasser ausläuft.
