Overall comfortable place to stay for cheaper rate than others. Quiet nobody bothered us.

This condo/apartment had a neat kitchen supplied with all I needed for my family of 6, including linen and towels. Freezer had automatic ice maker. Overall, had great layout inside & clean restroom and shower. W/D across restroom was convenient. The sofa was comfy for my older 3 kiddos. The sofabed was in fine shape, but the kids preferred sleeping over regular sofa with blankets, as that was very comfortable. Gated parking and outdoor cameras. Wayne was very quick to respond and helpful.

Simply location felt uncomfortable compared to our usual vacation spots that are more attractive and well kept. Though, there were cameras outdoor and gated parking made it better. The vents needing some dusting off including rugs. Everything else was good. Narrow entrance into parking lot, but towards the back had more space for large SUVs.

Would stay in this lovely Air B&B again!

Lovely property! Looks exactly like the pictures. Super location! Only 5 minutes away from our daughter’s apartment, even with Austin traffic. When we’ve stayed in Austin before, we’ve stayed in a hotel. Never again! Verandas at Uptown is the only property we’ve stayed at where we felt safe & didn’t see roaches. The mattress on the bed is super comfortable! Loved the decor throughout the condo!

We had read the latest review, which wasn’t positive. Since my husband has an HVAC license, the first thing he did is check the a/c. The a/c filter was packed with dirt & dust, & needed to be changed. The unit is not designed to be in the ceiling, it’s a window unit that needs outside air to work properly. As such, it was impossible to keep the condo cool, & the unit ran constantly. Putting in a “real” central air unit would save you money in the long run.The handle on the toilet is the wrong size. However we were able to figure out how to make it work. Not sure how much you’re paying your maintenance man, but it’s too much.

Avoid Unit 221 at all costs

The room is not the problem. The lack of maintenance and attitude of the owner of Unit 221 is the problem. I guess I was unlucky to have selected a unit owned by a someone with no respect for his paying guests.

The owner of Unit 221 refused to send someone to fix a broken toilet until 2 days after our stay. I also took and sent him photos of mold and mildew on the shower curtain, (the bathroom smelled of mildew). A mildew covered mop was in the laundry closet and smelled so bad I had to put it outside after attempting to clean it (no soap available except for a half bottle of shampoo left by the previous guest) before mopping the floor at 2:am under the AC unit that leaked water water constantly. It was as if it was raining on and off inside every time the unit kicked on and off. Towels and a bathroom garbage pail had to be placed to catch the water dipping for two days until I turned it off completely. Thermostat was never set below 73° at any time, however the owner said his AC guy said (without even coming to look at the unit) that it must have been set below 70°, so it froze and was melting. Owner said "since he expected a bad review" to "send my complaints to Booking.com". We are very disappointed not so much about the issues, but the unprofessional attitude taken and lack of effort to correct them. Something as small as a broken toilet handle that broke off on a Friday: He said it couldn't be addressed untill Monday. He was "sorry they didn't meet our expectations". I guess I am being overly demanding because I didn't expect to reach into toilet box water to lift the chain and flapper every time I need to flush a toilet and cleaning puddles of water off the floor all day long.....

SXSW 2019

Very clean and great feel and looked exactly like the pictures on the inside. Great parking and easy access to the apartment. Also the neighbors were very nice and friendly.

The outside made me nervous but the inside of the apartment was great. We could never get the Tv to work. There is no WiFi so that made things a little difficult. The speaker would not charge so it kept dying. Also the pool is not how it looked on pictures.

Goed voor comfort, niet hygiëne

Ik verzamel schaamhaar, en tot mijn vreugde kon 3 uit het laken halen en in mijn mapje stoppen. Fijne Melrose place vibe, goed te bereiken met de auto. Verder deed alles het prima.

Er zaten er brandvlekken en andere vlekken in het beddengoed. Ook waren er nog discutabele handafdrukken tegen het raam.
