Peregrina Pension O Pedrouza Basic, but clean accommodations in O Pedrouza. Shower was well supplied with shampoos and shower gels. Not sure if the pension provided or left by other pilgrims, but appreciated nonetheless since we just ran out & the stores were closed. Washer and dryer added bonus! Nice shared kitchen stocked with coffee and cookies. Such a treat! Only negative was, that it was located at the far west end of town and had to walk back to the center for dinner.

Great Pension! A modern building. It was like an Airbnb. All electronic entry and check in. Huge room with lounge chairs and table to eat on. Huge, shared bathroom. Shared, complete kitchen downstairs. Very quiet. It was at the very end of town, like the very last building! About an 8-minute walk to a Dia market where we got drinks and dinner. There were a couple restaurants about a 15-minute walk, but it was during their closed time, and we didn't want to wait. Being at the end of town let us beat the post Sarria crowds out of town again and gave us about a mile headstart. Communications with the Pension owner through messages was excellent. Very quiet at the end of town.

Nothing. One of the best private rooms places we stayed on the Camino, especially for the price. No air conditioning.

Although we never met our host, they most helpful and responsive over WhatsApp. We shared a bathroom with one other room, but there was no inconvenience. Nice to have washing machine to catch up on laundry.

The property is a short walk out from the town center. However, this was to our advantage the next day, as the Camino starting point was very close by.

The place was clean, best features were the very large and modern shared bathroom and the small but well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable as well.

Fully aware that we're were booking a pension and expectations can't be too lofty, we're we're disappointed with this property in comparison to all the other well run, equipped and decorated similar properties we had booked along our Camino Norte route. Essentially it's a reconverted residential apartment on the top floor of a block of flats. You have to ring for a off site staff member to meet you at the front door to let you in and show you around. Our attic room was poorly ventilated with a skylight and was consequently quite hot. Granted temperatures were above normal for the time of year but in summer it would be an issue. The electric fan supplied operated at waft speed only so did not help. The room rate poster on the back of the door did not align with what we paid online, not a biggie but a small detail adding to the feeling that everything was OK, passable. but not great.
