The position and the price
We booked this accommodation for four adults. The reservation was made in August, at which time I asked for the sofa to be prepared as a sofa bed, but I never received any response. Upon arrival, I asked again and the property replied that they are not a hotel and that we had to make the bed ourselves. This was already unusual, as it has never happened to me in many years of travelling.
When we arrived, the property was dirty: the fridge smelled of onions, the floor was covered in hair, and the bed upstairs also had hair on the pillows and duvet. Despite this, we tried to open the sofa bed. We realized immediately that it was not suitable for two adults. It was too small—my husband is 1.90 m and 85 kg and could not even fit on it alone. In addition, it was unstable: the legs were weak, the base was broken, one wooden slat was missing and another one was taped together. When we mentioned this, the property claimed they had never had any issues with it. However, the presence of tape already indicates a problem.
We did not even go into detail about the cleanliness because our main concern was: where were we supposed to sleep? This property is simply not suitable for four adults; only two people could sleep there. We have photos and videos documenting the condition of both the flat and the sofa bed.
The property agreed to cancel the booking and refund us, but we still incurred additional costs as we had to find and book a last-minute accommodation for four people at 9:00 PM.
Very disappointing experience.

host was available on arrival and was very helpful and accommodating. The chalet and location exceeded expectations and ski lifts right next door along with a cozy little restaurant next door. We didn't ski on this trip and booked for the very start so of the season for a relaxing break. The location is a little out of town and has free bus transport running regular between Chamonix and the chalet and is a very popular destination for the early season skiing. i would definitely go back during the busier time of ski season and enjoy some time on the slopes.
This is not a reflection of the chalet, host or location as they were all fab and the below are out of their control. Just for travelers to be aware as we arrived quite late in the night and just about made the last bus up to the chalet:
the restaurant closes fairly early and is only open during ski season. No other places to eat within walking distance.
buses stop at around 8pm and no taxi service available past this.
no English TV or radio channels in the chalet.

The location was perfect for ski holiday. right at the base of the gondola serving the Le Tour resorts. just steps away from the main gondola station, bus stop, lift tickets office and an excellent beginners area. the ski rental shop is right in the same building and the staff at the rental shop are super friendly and helpful. make a lunch reservation at wonderful restaurant next door for a delicious home cooked French meal. The chalet has everything you need for a cozy and comfortable stay.

The apartment is excellent - right in the centre of the village, close to the nursery ski slope and the cable car up to the higher slopes. Staff in the sports shop were very friendly and helpful when giving us the key for check in, offered to get some breads delivered for breakfast the next morning. The apartment is really lovely inside, beautifully decorated and very modern. Great facilities including dishwasher and wifi. Only a few minutes drive from Argentiere (where we went for the supermarket) and 20 minutes drive from Chamonix. Large car park right outside. There is a bus stop at Le Tour however I’m not sure of the timetable as we had a car. Would definitely stay again.

Good location, but the main entrance and stairs are not finished and raw. Generally nice and clean.
Finish off the main entrance. Without a car, difficult access to the store, the nearest one is 2.5 km away and the return with shopping is uphill :)

A very quiet location with a stunning view of Le Tour Glacier. We simply loved this very cozy Chalet also decorated with style. Is located in Le Tour a quiet small village very closed to the cableway that will lead you up the mountain with stunning trails. Very close to the Seitzerland border also with Martigny at just a blink away! Beautiful!
