Country Cottage / Bilbao

Lovely house in serene countryside. It's some distance from Bilbao which was my target destination but the bus service was efficient and punctual. The one-mile walk from the property to the bus-stop was through an extremely peaceful woodland setting. Imanol was the perfect host.Assisted by Imanol's car I had no difficulty navigating the area & spending my evenings in friendly Gordexola so a hire car was not essential for me.

The country house is situated in a quiet street in the middle of an eucalyptus forest. The appartment was clean and spaceous. We had enough space with 3 adults a teenager and a dog. The cosy appartment is decorated with an eye for lovely details, where you feel at home immediately. The communication with the landlady -Beatrice- was very nice and kind. She always answered in short time and gave us many tips for visits in the Basque area. We enjoyed the visits in the area very much BUT it was always nice to come back "home" in the evening and sit in the garden or in the kitchen. We can recommend this object very much, we will be back! Well looked after accomodation. The pictures of the accomodation on the website represent the reality. Nice and quite area, enough space in the house and in the garden. Very friendly owner, who gives a lot of advizes of what to do in the area and in Bilbao. Pricewise: fair price for what you get! I would advise the accomodation to other people.

Great location for a getaway. The facilities were nicely furnished and clean.
