About this villa rental
'Sunshine Paradise' is a two-story Residence with a beautiful upper Studio and a big breezy Patio where you can cook and enjoy your meals overlooking the caribbean Sea, the harbour and the golden-white Sand on Brighton Beach, one of the finest beaches on the West-Coast. You can also sit outside at the bar sipping a drink while admiring the stunning sunsets or lying in the hammock and listen to the sound of the waves.
The studio is one big livingroom-bedroom with a big double closet and a second room with a door and a double drapery.
The Master bedroom in the studio has a king-size four-poster bed and air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.
The smaller room has a single bed and a bed-sofa
The kitchen is outside on the patio always breezy and nice.
If you go some steps higher up from the Patio to the platform on the roof you can have a private sunbath or sit and watch out for sailing boats and the cruise-liners to pass by. From the patio you can also step down the circle staircase to the pool and of course to the beach!
It takes only five to ten minutes to reach the town for shopping, entertainment and dining in the west-coast restaurants.
The studio offers full amenities including maid service weekly and is specially suited for honeymooners and families with and without children.

Gertrud, Harold and George were very helpful the entire duration of our stay. The studio and surrounding grounds were beautiful and relaxing. Our hosts gave us valuable input for activities, restaurants and driving directions. The ocean front was mesmerizing to both see and hear. My favorite aspect of the vacation was interacting with Gertrud. She is positive, intelligent and interesting with a wonderful outlook on life. All parts of this vacation were healing.

My fiancé and l had a wonderful 11 day stay at this beautiful home/Villa. The views were amazing with the floral landscape and ocean views. We enjoyed the outdoor covered kitchen and tremendous sized balcony area. The interior was decorated with a mix of European and tropical furnishings. Very simple but very quaint and comfortable. Our host Georg and Gertrud were wonderful and so helpful. We actually got married directly on the beach at the property while there. The hosts were so accommodating in helping us on our special day. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Georg and Gertrud!!

We stayed a week in this wonderful apartment owned by Gertrud who lives downstairs. The apartment is great for a couple (with or without kids). Our favorite part is the huge deck that overlooks the ocean. It never occurred to us what a great thing it is to have an outdoor kitchen but it meant that we could be outside with the view and weather while making breakfast or dinner. We spent most of our time on this deck. We also really enjoyed walking down the beach and swimming right outside the gate. Very peaceful.Gertrud is a wonderful host and has lived on the island a long time. She is full of information about things to do and how things work - thanks Gertrud!As others have said a car is really useful and allows you to get around. We drove into Bridgetown for bbq chicken (twice as it was so good) as well as going out twice and cooking at the apartment.We would go again in a heartbeat!
