The EO Estuary is a Site of Community Importance (SCI) and Protected Birdlife Reserve.
This region is home to ancient traditions, such as artisan knife making. It is worth visiting the various foundries, smiths and forges to find out what life was like in this privileged area in past centuries.
There are many hiking trails to enjoy.
