We are on Rt 7, Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, nightlife and Breakfast Cafe. Major Berkshire attractions are all within a short ride including Balance Rock, Mt. Greylock, Jiminy Peak, Bousquets, Clark Art, Williams College, Mass MOCA, Tanglewood, State Forests, Arrowhead, and so much more. No wonder we live here. :) Pets allowed,
2 Bedroom apt located in a converted 1900 farmhouse. We welcome families, Businesses, Hunters, and Fisherpeople. This is a downstairs apt with ample parking for boats and trailers, a full kitchen with a microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. There is a large enclosed front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or evening card game. 2 bedrooms, the first one with 1 queen bed and one futon, perfect for children and smaller adults. The second bedroom has a Queen bed with floor space for an air mattress if you need additional sleeping space. Air mattress available upon request. Space is 4 rooms 2 bedrooms, Living room, and Lg kitchen, approx 650 sqft with pantry/laundry area, and full bath.

This little apartment was just right for our family of four on our ski vacation. Two bedrooms plus LR and kitchen so plenty of room, very comfy, washer/dryer and room for gear, easy parking... Exactly what we needed. Plus clear, punctual communication from the owner, Ann. A great experience!

We stayed for three nights. The home was very comfortable and the location was great. The weather was hotter than expected (though the home stayed cool enough during the day) but Ann let me know she would be installing a window AC unit just to be sure we were comfortable.
The home was very clean and had all the essentials plus some. The WiFi was powerful and there were lots of food options nearby.
The lake is across the street, and not visible from the home, but it is a 5 minute drive to a lovely park with swimming access. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed our visit.

The apartment was not as comfortable as I expected after reading the prior reviews. The positive aspects of the place were its location to the places our family wanted to visit. Approximately 30 minutes from Great Barrington, Lee, and West Stockbridge. It was a decent size but not large enough for six people as described. The space was basically clean but the rugs were dirty. This should be remedied especially if you have small children or allergies. The yard was spacious but barren. The porch was large with plenty of chairs and two tables. The internet service was fast and the kitchen had all the basic amenities.
One of my major complaints were the beds and pillows. They were very uncomfortable. After a long day of activities, a family wants and needs a good rest to enjoy the next day. We were all tired and cranky in the morning. My second complaint was the number of extension cords in the living room and in one of the bedrooms because some of the outlets were not working. This really should be repaired for safety reasons.
Lastly, the "pet friendly" means that you can bring your pet, but cannot leave the pet unattended. This limited the places we could visit.
Overall, I think the apartment is a good place to crash if you are staying for a weekend. However, any time longer would require some of the updates mentioned above. Compared to other places we have stayed in the past summers, this was the least liked and overpriced.
In sum, even though we did not rest as much as we would have liked, we did enjoy our vacation.
