Lovely house

The house , pool & spa! It was awesome!

We loved it!

I loved the layout of the house, nice and open. we loved the pool and hot tub. It was nice to have someone that actually came and cleaned the pool during our stay too. We had pool cleaning twice in the 6 nights we were there. The views of the sunset were wonderful! The house has a nice amount of space and is good for families!

The house was not really clean when you looked close. I had to clean the bathrooms myself upon arrival and with the first swipe of towel, the towel was literally brown with dirt and hair. The doorstops had so much dust that it looked like hair. Someone had left fish bait box on patio and every time we were outside it smelled like something had died. Well, there was something rotting, and it was dead bait that had been baking in the sun for who knows how long. The dishwasher wasn’t installed, but it was set in the spot and was hooked up, when I went to open the whole unit fell on my foot. Management DID send someone to fix, but the gentleman said he was going to Home Depot and then never came back the whole time we were there. The pool table couldn’t be used because each of the cues were broken with missing tips or the tips had no felt. Management DID bring us new cues two days after I emailed about the cues. We have teens kids and they love to play pool, part of why we booked the Mayfair was because of the pool table. A garage door opener would have been nice to have. Some of the patio furniture was broken. The lamps in the master bedroom were broken, the light bulb was hanging by a wire and resting on the lamp shade. The BBQ pit had not been cleaned, but we cleaned after we used for burgers one evening. The room with twin beds doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the home. That room has dark brown dingy carpet and smelled musty. I paid $55 to check in 2.5 hours early and really felt at least that should have been reimbursed due to the items listed above. There was no one staying in the home the days prior to us arriving, so no one had to do anything extra for us to arrive 2.5 hours early. All in all I think this property has great potential, but for the price, I think there needs to be a bit more attention to detail.
