Moor Skies is a cosy shepherd's hut situated within the owner's ground, on the outskirts on Oxenhope in West Yorkshire. All ground floor, this cottage boasts an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area, sitting area and a double bed (accessible from one side only). There is also a shower room inside with shower, basin and WC. To the exterior is off-road parking for two cars and a patio area with table and chairs, chimenea and barbecue. Moor Skies promises a romantic break with your loved one.
Amenities: Electric heating with woodburning stove. Two-ring induction hob, microwave, fridge, 22” TV with YouTube, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Fuel for woodburner supplied on honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Patio area with table and chairs, chimenea and barbecue. Two well behaved pets welcome. No smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. The village, with its shops, churches and pubs, is home to the terminus for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, which runs on a regular basis to Haworth and on down to Keighley. The area was made famous by the Bronte sisters, and the outstanding countryside was famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren.
