"Uriges" Holz-Haus im Zakopane-Stil; zur Wohnung geht eine etwas steile Treppe; ein Zimmer geht Richtung Bus- und Zugbahnhof, da kann es bei offenem in den frühen Morgenstunden etwas lauter sein; Parkplatz im Hof; sehr freundlicher Vermieter, wohnt auch im Haus; die Kommunikation Vorort lief über Google-Übersetzer prima; gute Lage: zu Fuß ca. 10 min ins Zentrum;
Ausflug zum See Morskie Oko: Bus am Bahnhof nehmen! Bargeld (pro Kopf und Weg 15 Zloty), viel besser als mit dem eigenen Auto!

It was very quiet and private. Roomy, clean and lovely views.
The stairs, being on the third floor and almost a spiral staircase presented a problem for two eighty year olds with suitcases. Also no instructions for English speakers on how to use the tv.

Perfect location - 5 minutes away from Zakopane station and 5 minutes away from the bus station where you get buses to the entrance of Tatra National Park. It is 3 minute walk to a grocery shop (Netto) but you also are within walking distance to other grocery shops (Zabka 7 mins, Biedronka 13 min). A few restaurants around the area as well without going all the way to the centre of Zakopane.
Facilities - There was only 2 of us but this property can sleep 4 people (2 bedrooms, we only used one). Kitchen is well equipped with pans, utensils, plates, mugs etc. Note there is no microwave but you can easily heat things on the hob. We were provided with towels, nice chocolate samples, a shampoo and conditioner (small amount, but I have long hair so I also brought my own) and a soap bar. There are blankets in the lounge area and the bed was very comfortable.
Staff - During check-in, the owner of the property is friendly and he has a really good translation tool/device. He gives you all the details and they live downstairs so if you have any questions they are not far from you. There was also a very cute cat around the area.
Everything was perfect for what we need. Note that you need to climb up the stairs for the space we booked so if you are not mobile this may not be the room for you.
