About this apartment rental
2nd floor without an elevator (approx. 30 steps) and is approx. 75 sq. mts. (800 sq. ft.) and consists of:
Living room /dining room (table for 4/8 persons and 2 sofa)
2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 with twin beds)
1 bathroom (tub and hand shower)
Kitchen (with washing machine)
Piazza Santo Spirito is on the south side of the river in Oltrarno and is one of Florences few tree lined squares. In the middle is Brunelleschi`s Renaissance church that faces the square. Some of the most appealing features of Piazza Santo Spirito are the daily food and clothing market, open-air restaurants and numerous coffee shops. The piazza hosts many events and concerts during the year and is one of Florence s primary spots for night life. It is approximately a 5-minute walk to the Pitti Palace, Boboli gardens and a few minutes more to Piazza della Signoria on the north side of the river.
City tax EUR 6.00 per person above 12 per night for a maximum of 7 nights will be collected at check in, in cash.
Check-in time:
2 pm - 7pm: normal check-in schedule time
7 pm - 10pm: late check-in with a fee of 40€ to be paid in cash upon arrival

This lovely place was perfect for the 3 of us. The apartment itself just oozes charm and ambience, from the exposed wood beams in the ceiling, the antique furniture, down to the fantastic and lively Piazza Santo di Spirito below the main windows. This place is within easy walking distance to all the main attractions, but in an authentic and chill neighborhood just across the river from the crazy hustle and bustle of the city center. The host was gracious and helpful, and we would love to come back and stay here again! Highly recommended.

The experience was exceptional. The owner was friendly and available. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and worked well. The location was great and near all the major attractions

Overall, this property is charming and in a great location.
However, there were only two small portable air conditioners - one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
Not only does the second bedroom have no air-conditioning, there isn’t even an electric outlet where you could plug in a fan. I asked for one and was told no for that very reason.
Bottom line is the second bedroom will be useless in warm weather. There isn’t even a window to open.
