This property is well furnished and equipped for it's purpose, but it was not clean. Yes, the toilet had the wrapper on it stating it was cleaned and that was fine, but there was a layer of dust on a kitchen chair that left prints on it when I set down an item. Around the bed in the master was caked with dust/dirt. I took a chance, as this was written in MANY other reviews...but was saddend to see that those reviews were accurate and had not been addressed by the owner/prop. mngr. We would love to stay here again, but would truly like to see these issues addressed. There are a few requirements such as the dishwasher must be unloaded prior to your departure and you must start a load of linens in the washer. For the cleaning fee that is paid, I find these to be poor requirements placed on the paying guests. If guests wake in the morning, have breakfast, and prepare to leave by the 10am departure requirement, there is a good risk that dishes could be put away unclean due to time constraints. I just see these as pitfalls that are unnecessary for such a lovely property with a lovely view.
