About this chalet rental
This Beautiful Mountain Chalet is nestled in the woods, set on 23 wooded acres. This property is perfect for rest and relaxation. This spacious home sleeps 18+ people & offers the perfect location to gather with friends and family. It is fully furnished to meet your needs and also near Sweet Water Springs Farm Wedding Venue.
This mountain home is spacious with 7 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with one bathroom on the ground level.
We are an hour from Penn State & Beaver Stadium & are one of the few Air B&B options between PSU & Harrisburg. We are 2 miles off of RT 322 that leads to Penn State. We are also 45 minutes from Carlise (Carlise Car Show) and 30 minutes from The Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg and Hershey Park is 40 minutes away.
Our house has central air and heat on all 3 floors.
If you plan to use the 3rd floor (7th bedroom) an email/text should be sent to us 3 days prior to your arrival so we are sure to have the room set up with the AC or Heat on in advance.
Firewood for the fire pit can be bought locally.

The house is 108 years old and is not in perfect condition but we love it. It is much nicer than a "cabin" but it is not a 5-star hotel. Our home is a mix of rustic and contemporary styles.

we celebrated second new year in a row at this place and could not have had a better time! the house is clean, had enough space for our group of 12 adults, wooden floor perfect for dancing, no neighbours -- enough privacy, our host Jon was responsive and helpful all the time, and the location is very convenient -- there is plenty of stores and restaurants in 5-15 min drive. if you are looking for a getaway for a large group -- look no further :-)

The home was beautiful with alot of character that comes with age. It was obvious the owners have done alot to keep things updated. The bathrooms had been updated at some point, walls looked newly painted, the gas fireplaces were very nice, and there wasn't a cluttered feeling that sometimes comes with an old house. The rooms were big and there was plenty of space for our large group of 20 to stay. The owner was very responsive and involved in the whole rental process. I would definitely recommend the house and would stay again!My only suggestion would be that it's time for the kitchen to have a good deep clean-out/ reorganizing. Cabinets and drawers were a bit disorganized, but that's an easy fix. Also, liners would go along way to making it look cleaner. Overall, my family had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay! Thanks for letting us use your home to create memories!
