The Mackerel Sky Suites are located on the edge of downtown Boothbay Harbor. Sidewalks will lead you to the center of our small town filled with shops and restaurants. The Boothbay Opera House, art galleries, the public library, and the town park are close by. The waterfront with all its boating options is just two blocks away. Set sail on a windjammer, take a scenic boat ride out to see puffins on Eastern Egg Rock, or catch the ferry out to Monhegan or Squirrel Island. Public trails offered by the Boothbay Region Land Trust, the town owned Barrett's Park, and our winding coastal roads will provide many opportunities to get out and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is 3.6 miles away. The Department of Marine Resources Aquarium is 2.6.

Everything someone would need for a week in Boothbay Harbor. Very close to town so I walked to shopping and dinners. Would definitely stay when I next visit

Perfect location, perfect hosts, perfect upstairs flat. Well equipped with full kitchen, spotless, easy walk to everything. Delightful deck with table, chairs and umbrella. Most strongly recommended.

Very clean, nice assortment of cooking dishes. Hosts were very kind and easily accessible. Perfect location for downtown access, 5” walk. The only thing I could not find was an ironing board. A regular size iron would have been nice. My bear-paw hand husband had a rough time with the small iron. A second mirror outside of the bathroom by an outlet would also have been great. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!
