    I booked Marwin Villa with low expectations after reading mixed reviews online, but my stay turned out to be excellent. ​ Following Google Maps led me down a slightly sketchy alley at first, but I eventually found the property. I arrived early and waited briefly while the receptionist assisted other guests. Check-in was smooth, though early access to the room wasn't available because it was still being cleaned. I paid a 1,000 THB security deposit, left my luggage in the lobby, and enjoyed the complimentary welcome drinks and snacks while waiting for the standard check-in time. ​ When I returned, the front desk handed over my keycard and offered to bring my luggage up to the room. The photos online are completely accurate—the room was spacious, spotless, and featured a clean, soft king-size bed. It came equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay: ​Towels & toiletries ​TV & safety deposit box ​Mini fridge & electric kettle ​Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea ​Hairdryer ​ My 4-day stay had a few minor drawbacks, though none were dealbreakers for me: ​Noise: Morning construction work was audible, but the hotel had posted an advisory in the elevator, and the sound was quiet enough that I slept through it. On one evening, I heard rowdy guests, but the noise level was tolerable. Earplugs were provided in the room. ​Elevator Access: My keycard failed to activate the elevator twice, but the front desk reset it quickly each time. ​ Housekeeping was efficient—flipping the door sign resulted in a fully cleaned room and fresh bottled water and tows. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. I just hope the street construction is finished by my next visit!

    Horrible check in experience. Woman at front desk with glasses insisted on deposit. We arrived late and were checking out the following morning. I didn't have baht at the time. Other hotels we stayed had days before never asked for any deposit. I asked to waive the deposit since room was paid but she wouldn't budge.
