* Due to the nature of the Outer Banks, dunes and amount of beach between ocean-front properties and the ocean can accumulate and/or disappear very quickly. Pictures of beach-front properties may not accurately reflect the size of the dune or beach due to such fluctuations.
339, "Cockrell," is a South Nags Head Ocean-Front Vacation Rental Home that offers a throwback to vacations long ago. From the wooden interior adorned with a fisherman's touch, to the immediate beach access on the relatively less crowded beaches of South Nags Head, this home caters to families who wish to re-live the classic Nags Head vacation experience.
Upon entering this classic Ocean-Front Home, guests are welcomed to a spacious great room with ocean views along with ocean-side dining and immediate access to a beach-side porch with more dining options and a second fridge! The "Cockrell" home then offers three bedrooms with a variety of bedding options, including one Master Queen bedroom with private bathroom, allowing for numerous sleeping arrangements.
Of course, the main focus of this South Nags Head Rental Home is the immediate beach access! South Nags Head offers a tranquil beach experience when compared to the busier areas of Northern Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills. At 339, "Cockrell," guests can sit back on the ocean-facing deck and enjoy a morning cup of coffee, open the porch windows to enjoy a meal by the sea, and best of all, walk to and from their rental home to the ocean with ease!
The South Nags Head location not only offers an amazing beach experience, but is also only minutes from sites like the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet, and 4x4 beaches, while the main part of Nags Head offers a wide variety of restaurants, shopping at the Nags Head outlet mall, a variety of grocery stores, golf (including miniature golf), water sports, and more!

We loved this cottage. We stayed here for Thanksgiving and the view and location were wonderful. We shall return!
