About this apartment rental
Beautiful, bright and sunny 2.5 room apartment with a living room and a bedroom on the 2nd Floor in a beautiful old village house from 1914 in a central location in the middle of the village of Amden. There is a kitchen with two seats. The bathroom is small but very well kept. The ceilings are 2m high in the apartment. Pet are allowed. Immediate proximity to the chair lift (5 minutes walk), swimming pool, public transport and shopping opportunities. In the basement there is the possibility to store and dry skis and ski boots. The Walensee can be reached in 8 minutes by car, by bus in 10 minutes. The buses run every half hour to the Arvenbühl chairlifts and the Walensee in the valley. A parking lot is available in 2 minutes walking distance.

This is a breathtaking property. Rolling hills and turquoise lakes as far as the eye can see. Great communication with property owner. The only downfalls of this stay is the small bathroom and the fact that the upstairs neighbors can hear your every word. In fact, the upstairs neighbor came down one morning to let us know we were talking too loud (which was just regular conversation voices). All in all, this is a wonderful property. You won't be disappointed, but remember to just keep your voices to a whisper after dark.

The owners are very kind and readily responsive. The area is lovely, with everything conveniently close. The people of Amden are friendly. However, the apartment is somewhat dated and unfortunately quite noisy; neighbor and street noise are easily audible. The heating system is also inconsistent, tending to be either too warm or too cold.
